Colleen POV
I saw Josh coming towards me with a serious look on his face. "What's wrong?!" I asked concerned.
He pulled me in to another room. It was my childhood bedroom. The walls were painted a soothing lavender color. Old tour posters and head shots were on the floor.
"So Matt was planning on proposing to Rachel..." Josh said.
"THAT'S AMAZING!!!!" I exclaimed. I'm so happy for Rachel.
"There's just one problem," Josh said in a whisper. "Matt has it planned for Christmas Day, when we were gonna make the baby announcement."
My mind started racing, anxiety taking over. "How are we going to do this? I don't want to have our announcements within the same day since they both deserve to be equally recognized."
"I don't know," Josh said. "All I know is that Matt wanted us to help out with the proposal tomorrow. He's flying in a few of Rachel's friends as a surprise and after she goes out to see who it is, the whole family is going to hold up a sign asking for him to marry her."
"Oh gosh... That's already been planned perfectly. We can't mess with that!" I said.
It was an inconvenient coincidence and I knew the best thing to do was to hold off our announcement. Then again, I've been waiting to make this announcement and have dreamed that I'd be making the announcement at a time where all of my family and bfriends were together. Christmas. After Josh had left the room, I stayed,
staring up at the walls, not knowing what to do.
