The Senior

Chapter 12

-Saturday-

That day Chloe drove me to the park. She made me wait until Brendon was there till I was allowed to go to the empty field next to the park.

He finally asked,"You still have my phone?"

"Yeah, I tried to text you but then I realized that it was in my purse!" I started laughing handing over his phone.

"Thanks!"

He showed me the basics to marching. The got a call from Dallon. So we decided to go and get some ice cream. It was hot in Florida as always. Especially near the summer time. I was just happy to know that Chloe and I were moving to California soon because we were going to take senior classes online.

"Where are you going to collage?"

"I'm not I'm pursuing music."

"Oh really?" He just walks faster. Like he doesn't want to be asked about it.

He drives me home.

"Bye Sara." He says looking up from his phone finally.

"Bye man whore!"

He looks up at me like I pissed him off. I get out of the car and start walking up to the house when I feel something on my arm. Damn mosquitos. I look at my arm and Sr. That it is Brendon's arm.

"The hell Brendon?" He doesn't respond I look at his face that was now looking down at his feet. Quickly he leans foreword and kisses me.

At first I though Chloe was going to come out of the house and kill him. But I realize that her car is still gone. It was just us. Standing in a driveway kissing.

I back up and run into the house.

"Sara why do you fall for the people that you know hate you? You need to fucking stop!"

I mean it was a wonderful kiss and all but I'm dating Josh. He called you this morning Sara. He wanted to date me for real. I of course told him yes. But this is a whole game changer.

I call Chloe:

"Hey!"

"What up?"

"Come home now please!"

"The hell did he do now?"

"Nothing I just need you to come home now!"

"Fine, can you wait 15 mins?"

"Yeah"

"Bye see you in a bit."

"Bye."

I sit on the couch in silence waiting for her to get home.
