-Josh's POV-
It was two days before the graduation ceremony. Me and sara flew to Iowa. We went to the funeral and I got to see Sara's little sister. For being only 4 years old she was pretty smart, but she didn't really get what had happened to her grandma.
Me and Sara left to go to California. We were going to meet Chloe and Tyler there, but their flight got cancelled. So it was just me and Sara.
We went to our apartment that Chloe, Tyler, Sara, and me were going to share. We started watching Netflix as we were sitting on the couch. Sara looked at me. You could get lost in her eyes for what seemed like days. As her lips crashed into mine I put my hand on her face caressing her cheek. Her soft lips filling me with warmth. She pulled away and hugged me. She got up and went to the restroom. I heard Sara's phone ding:
Brendon:
Hey sara
I opened her phone up and typed:
Hey this is Josh
Brendon: oh hey josh
J: hey Brendon. Why u texting sara? You know that we are dating right. I don't want you to get any ideas.
B: don't worry I'm not I was just wondering how she was doing.
J: ok well good night then
I deleted the chat. I didn't want her to see that I was snooping. She came out and sat back next to me.
I got lost in thought about the day I called Sara.
J: hey I was wondering uh?
S: hey what's up?
J: could we... uh date for real.
S: i would love too.
J: k see you later bye.
S: bye.
She kissed me again to wake me from my daze.
"You okay?"
"Yeah I just zoned out."
"Goodnight."
"Night."
