When I woke up the next morning, I stretched my tail and arms then packed up all of my books and stuff for class and then grabbed my shell comb and brushed my hair. Then I put my hair up and swam to Luna's room so we could swim to school together. Luna was asleep when I got there, so I dropped a shell on her stomach to wake her up and darted out of the room so that she would think a fish or something knocked it onto her, well the fish part would be half true... After a few minutes, I swim back to her room to find her rushing around to get ready. I watched her for a bit before i spoke up and said, "Woke up late again didn't you?" Her answer was just what I expected it to be, and it was Yes.
A few minutes later after she was packed and ready we swam to class. On the way we grabbed some seaweed and ate it as a snack and then kept swimming for a few minutes until we finally made it to class. We just barely made it there in time, we had to rush to our seats and get our books out and turn to the page while he was walking into the room and we let out a sigh of relief since we weren't late again.
After the 30 minutes of reading, we had to work in groups to come up with a summary of the chapter we read. Unfortunately me and Luna weren't in the same group because I was 4 chapters ahead of her. Instead I was in a group with 2 nerd guys and a girl. We all came up with a summary in a few minutes and wrote it down and handed it in to our teacher then we went around the room to help the other groups. I went to help Luna and her group of girls and I honestly didn't pay attention to the other people from my group, I was just glad to be near Luna again, that was until the teacher came up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder and asked to speak with me in private.
When we were outside of the classroom and away where people can't hear us he tells me that he is worried about Luna's grades. He said that they seem to be dropping and that since i'm the smartest kid in the class and also her best friend that he wants me to help her study more and to pull them back up. I told him that I would do my best but that he would have to put the idea into her head since I didn't want her mad at me, and with that we swam back into the classroom and everyone went back to their normal spot in the room.
After a while of teaching during our free time to read or study or whatever we want to do our teacher pulled Luna out of class to go talk to her. When she came back in she brought her stuff over to me and asked if we could study, and of course I said yes...
