Hi Guys, I am re-reading Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater right now, and I am LOVING it (how did i not love this before?!) Anyways try it, it's fab xD

I tried to apply a more mystical, mysterious kind of atmosphere to the poem, and it's my first time trying it out! So i hope I did it justice D:

Let me know what you think, (if it makes sense) I was going on a whim really, I felt some things in the book were too vague, and I tried to apply that to this poem :) But well, that's just how I roll. Blue didnt meet Gansey that first day, but u know what I mean, it was pretty soon, compared to her lifespan xD

Enjoy! Glummyfairy

That Afternoon

Morning came acute in sisterhood,

A breakfast of Burnt butter to lush warm velvet toes ; a faulty compliment.

One couldn’t help but be amused.

Everyday oddities, slick and smooth came pleasant as used to

Over time, to fickle and swear, a flair in the air, adoringly

Of 300 Fox Way.

Expectant and spontaneous, chaotic in every way, what Blue was in store for that day

Mysteriously tingled of magic morning air.

Everyday; that morning.

In a parallel universe

Which graphs cannot perceive

One day it would seem

She would believe

A day without restraint or damning

None of that

A night, the curse bequeathed

A day to forget, all fate pre- planned.

A longing too intense, a burning too deep

Curiosity and despair

And Danger, to match ;

A strike, and flare, of lighted match.

Only morning it had been, so far away

Such weight thrown around in the beginning of the day

Little did she know

things would turn around

a parallel universe, age long glory, a quest beneath, lives within

love,

a living legacy when thee is dead.

Only too soon,

Just A kiss away

The very knock of a door

That afternoon.
