Dark: Come on... I want to be with my boyfriend again.

Me: Not yet. The both of you have things you must to. Like maybe fight each other, I don't know.

Dark: How do you not know? You are the freakin writer.

Me: *smiles* Sometimes when writing, the story writes itself. It takes turns you don't expect.

Dark: What do you have planned at least? *summons an orb of shadowy energy* Tell me or I will blast you with this.

Me: *sighs* Over dramatic much. *summons ball of gold energy*

Dark: How... how can you do that? Your human.

Me: Maybe in the real world. But in Dream world, in my imagination, I am a magic user. You should know this, you do have powers. So, must we battle, or can I get this chapter started?

Dark: *wills the orb away* Fine, start the stupid chapter.

Me: *Makes the ball vanish* Thank you. *turns to the reader* Sorry about that, he gets... impatient.

You look to your closet, and snap your fingers. The door opens on its own. You grab your potions, and you see them glow in a strange light. "I can't believe I got the potion right."

You grab them and put them in your pocket. You take the strap from last night, and put it around your arm. You put a dagger on the strap, and with one in each shoe.

"My telekinetic powers are working. I wonder is my Shadowjumping will work." You touch the wall, and imagine you are going into the shadows. Your hand presses against the wall, and then gives. "Yes. It worked."

You pull away. Nikki, is Mark still living at the same place as in our memories?

After a few minutes, you get a reply. Yes, at least I think so.

You run into the shadows, imagining yourself at the house. You feel yourself fade into a shadow, and then rematerialize in the living room of Mark's house.

You don't sense him here, so you go to the basement. You find her down there, tied to a chair. You snap your fingers, and the rope falls. You can tell she is quite shaken. She looks up at you. "Y/N, you came."

"Of course I did. I would never let you down. Not after all we have been through."

You help her stand. "I feel so weak. I don't think I can run."

"We gotta get you into the sun. You weren't ment to Shadowjump. Your body needs to heal itself."

You help her get up the stairs. As you get close to the door, you hear a voice. "I wouldn't have thought you would get here that fast. Or know where we are."

Go Nikki. Head out the door. I got this.

You let go of her and turn towards Dark. You put your hands in your pocket, and lean against the wall. He chuckles. "Haven't you learned after our last fight?"

He runs towards the shadows. "Oh I have." You pull out a potion, throw it against the wall. A blinding white flash of lights appears, destroying all shadows in the room. When the light fades, the shadows don't come back.

"A little potion I whipped up. Destroys all shadows in the house for an hour. You can't Shadowjump."

You snap your fingers, and the dagger in your right show flies into your hand. You immediately throw it at him, but he easily dodges it. "You are a lot more resourceful than I thought."

You hear a voice in your head, one you know well. Y/N! You know it wasn't the Dark that is in front of you.

In your moment of confusion, Dark runs at you. You reach in your sleeve, and whip that dagger at him. This time, you manage to get a glancing blow on his arm.

The blow makes him stumble. You snicker. "I will leave you with a warning. Do not mess with me." You take another potion, and throw it on the ground. You open the door and snap your fingers. Your two daggers come flying out to you. You put the one on the strap, and the other in your shoe.

You hear his voice come from inside. "I command you to stay here." You look at your mark, and it doesn't even glow. That's strange.

You close the door, and you see Nikki looking at you. She looks a lot better. "Do you think you can do one more Shadowjump?"

"I think so."

You grab her hand. "Follow my lead."

You start running to the side of the house, where the ground is covered in a shadow. As you enter the shadowy area, you jump into the air. Nikki jumps with you. When you land, both of you sink into the shadows. The next thing you see is your own house. You feel her lean on you.

"Come on, lets get you to the balcony." You help her walk over to it. You let her sit down on a chair. "If you need me, call."

You head inside, and relax on your couch.

Dark's POV

We are walking through a town so we can all eat. We stop by a diner that seems decent. There is a decent am out of people here, that is always a good sign.

I connected with Y/N earlier. This time, it didn't seem like something was blocking him. Now it seems like he is blocking me himself. But it's like he doesn't realize it. Like he can't control it.

Which to me makes no sense. But we will find out what is going on soon. We order our food, and I let the others talk with each other. I stay to myself.

There are just too many things. Too many pieces of the puzzle that don't fit together. Its almost as if I have two different puzzles, and the pieces are all mixed together. We get our food, and we all eat.

As I finish my last bite, I feel a jolt of energy. Its strong enough it makes me flinch. Jack looks over at me. "What's wrong?"

I growl. "Its Y/N. He is here in this town."
