Chapter 5

It took only a few minutes for all the guardians to arrive at North's Workplace, except for Jack. All of them had decided to use the snow globes that were only for an emergency, but they all felt like something bad was happening. They started to ask a lot of questions and North told them to calm down and to wait for Jack. That was the plan, but the Man in the Moon use his lights and crystals to warned them about the situation. He shows them three figures, first a boy that seem pretty normal, then another boy with a staff and a slim man (they understood that it was Jack and Pitch). Pitch was spreading his arms like he was offering something, the boy was thinking about it, but Jack seems like he was being controlled and couldn't do anything. Soon enough the boy agreed and a necklace appears on him; it was the letter "D" in some weird style (Danny's symbol), the boy looked like Jack and then they saw that Jack had his own necklace of a snowflake. The guardians were terrified of what they had seen and immediately started to think of Jack's whereabouts; they needed confirmation to make sure Jack hadn't made a deal with Pitch just yet. The light of Manny disappeared and a few minutes later another portal appear and through it, came Jack. 

- Soooo, why the call?- Jack asked with a happy smile, almost like the world could end and he wouldn't notice

- Where in the BLOODY WORLD were you?- Bunny growled out his question

- Ah, sorry about that, I was just taking a nap and the wind tried to wake me up, but it took a looooong while.- answered Jack in a calm manner and the guardians continue to be scared, so Bunny walked towards Jack in a menacing form and grabbed his hoodie enough to look for the snowflake necklace 

- HEY, LET GO OF ME!!!- Jack was shocked, "how did they know about the necklace?" he thought 

- There's nothing mate!- Bunny happily announce and let go of Jack 

- Okay, those somebody wants to explain?- asked Jack thinking that the plan was in danger

The guardians were thinking if they should tell him about what they saw and came to the conclusion that it was only a warning, so if they told Jack about it, he wouldn't make the deal in the first place. With that in mind, they told him about it and completely misunderstood Jack's expression of fear. He was scared of them finding out and they thought it was fear of serving Pitch. In the end, it didn't matter since their first move was to find that other boy and time still was on their side or so they thought. Jack didn't know what to do because he wanted to laugh about the guardians hope of been in time, but he also wanted to understand why would Manny tell them about it when it was too late. Then he came to the conclusion of "why am I thinking so much when I'm supposed to be having fun?", and so he played along with the guardians plans. 

The plan: Divide and Conquer

In other words, the guardians would go their separate ways around the world until they find Danny or Pitch, but I have to stay in the Workshop or go with one of them. Yeah, I know it's super boring but they wouldn't find anything because Danny's idea would be after Christmas, so North wouldn't be affected. Of course, if they decide to effectuate that plan Danny's consideration would be lost and that's when I thought of something.

- Hey guys, wouldn't it be better if North and I stayed behind?- *Cue the confuse and incredulous looks*- WHAT?!?

- That's a good idea coming from you, frostbite!- said Bunny and after the others agreed, they all went to look for the "mysterious boy" 

- Ah Jack, my boy, don't worry! Count on us! We will get Pitch and save ya and the boy, da!- said North while looking at me and I felt a little bad for my actions, but a deal is a deal

Soon enough Jack agreed with North and went to "his" bedroom while everyone else worked hard for Christmas, that was two more days from now. 

~~~Back in Amity Park~~~

Danny had told his parents that there was a ghost on the other side of town, Jack started to run towards the RV but Maddie asked how did he know about it. He simply explains that one of his classmates had informed him and with that, she hurried behind Jack. Ten minutes later and Pitch appear in a corner of the lab while Danny continues to break the Ghost Portal. The only sounds that could be heard during the next hour were of different materials breaking under Danny's strength and anger. Soon he was done with that, he went to his room and got his backpack that had some clothes and junk food that would last a few days. Only then Pitch spoke completely ignoring all the hatred that Danny was radiating and petted his hair, it wasn't the first time.

- Are you ready to leave, child?

- Yeah, but where are we going? 

- Somewhere were those guardians won't find us.- said Pitch before embracing Danny's shoulders with just one arm and shadow traveling to their next destination

Danny opened his eyes and was amazed at the sight in front of him. Let just say that he could definitely call this place his new home.

I know I have been gone for a bit of a time, but I have good news. I will be updating my other story "The darkness loses control" and making a new story. This one is another crossover between Danny Phantom and something else that you can guess about.  The title will be "Keeping my promises!"
