Chapter 6

I'm sorry that this took so long. I was finishing my bachelor's degree and the pandemic didn't help at all. But now I'm back! And there's even a little game.

Pitch gave him a tour of the place and Danny was quite surprised by how cozy it felt. Almost like it was a normal house that wasn't in Antarctica and buried under snow. It had a lot of areas that he suspected were for cuddling and rooms that were designed to the wants and the needs of one of them in specific. For example, he could see only snow in one of the rooms and he knew that it was for Jack since he needs it unlike himself that doesn't need it but still likes it. Although, he did find his special room and he had no idea how Pitch had made it. At first, it looked like a normal, albeit luxurious, room for relaxation with a gigantic sofa that occupies half of the room and a few bean bags on the other half. What made it special was the energy, since it felt like he was back in the Ghost Zone. Of course, he asked how it was possible and Pitch did what he does best...He ignored him and continued with the tour.

Once we were finished, I really wanted to stay in that room and sleep or to play in the game room even without Jack, but the next part of the plan had to start soon. I was waiting for Pitch to direct me towards a shadow so I could shadow travel to Burgess since I didn't want to fly such a long distance. Instead, I get a smirking Pitch and soon find myself surrounded by nightmare sand. I didn't know what was happening and then I started to feel the sand cover my Hazmat suit and settle there. I couldn't see anything and then I was falling, but I quickly calmed down when I understood that I was shadow traveling. In a few moments, I was standing in the middle of a forest that was probably located near Jack's Pond, so I started to walk aimlessly while looking at my new outfit.

All in all, it was pretty cool. Especially since it didn't change my color scheme too much. Now I had a black hoodie with my logo above where my heart would be, and it wasn't such a brilliant white. I also had some pretty neat pants with lots of pockets and combat boots, all of this was also black except for the not too brilliant white laces. While I was finishing my observations, I heard some frantic movement of what could be a bunch of birds. I was going to go intangible and invisible, but I saw that it was the tooth fairy and decided to start with the plan. The last thing that I needed was for her to look at..aaaand she's looking at me. Perfect!

- Hello? Jack? - she said while getting a bit closer and looking confused

- Jack? There's no Jack around here.

- Who are you? Are you lost?

- Now they care for Jack! - said Danny looking at some point behind Tooth

- What?

- You ignored and pushed him away! And THEN you think is so easy to be forgiven! - said Danny, but he was starting to shout

- We didn't mean to! We were just busy...

- No wonder that Jack went with him. - whispered Danny but making sure to be heard by Tooth

- What did you say? - asked Tooth with a look of horror and Danny had to take a few seconds to breathe and not grin like a maniac

- You heard me! - she almost missed it, he was sure

- Who are you and how would you know that? - she was threatening him with her swords, the move took her less than a second

- I thought you were all looking for me. - Danny gave her a bored expression

- You're that other boy! - she quickly looked for the necklace and when she didn't see it, she put her swords back in their sheath - You need to come with me! You're in danger! - she moves a bit forward and Danny jumps back
