The wind howls across its shattered land scape, while the pedals of formerly pink flowers drift in its eternal dance not to dissimilar from fire, yet lacking it's heat. These pink pedals fall hopelessly and softly upon the metal figure of a knight, laying amongst the flowers, facing a sunless sky. Once this knight was a guardian of something precious, something to be considered the lifeblood of the world, fighting to protect it, to make sure only the worthy could behold it's glow. In the field around it lays the swords of those too weak to defeat it, held forever in the soil between flowers, their edge slowly eaten away by wind and dust. But for all of its might it had failed before, multiple times at that, but all those beings who had, also had a heart enough to treat the very thing it guarded with respect, even sacrificing themselves to it, glowing with the same intensity of the fire. And so it would continue to burn, along with its eternal guardian, taking in the soul of those whom where strong enough to link the fire. Alas, the guardian failed to one who planned to steal this godly flame long ago, dooming the world to dark. Leaving the brave guardian to an endless sleep. Or, such is thought...
Cinder begins to form amongst the fluttering pedals, their gentle luminosity soon growing to a fully fledged fire. The metal figure stirs amongst the crackling of these towering flames, as a low hum emanates from within the earth itself. The ancient defender shifts, and with it, the ground itself. The knight outreaches it's arm to the sky, screaming as if it's very soul was being torn apart. Soon the whole kiln is set aflame. While at it's centre the knight still screams, but not in pain any longer, But in anger...
