I walked in slowly, carefully.   My mother suddenly turned around.

"Oh honey, You're here, Go ahead sit down. " She said softly.   She started getting off the seat but I pushed her back down gently.

She looked awful, I don't think she slept at all.

I looked at my dad, He looked so....so dead.  His face was pale and his eyes were shut.  there was no emotion on his face.  I looked back at mother.  She was looking at my dad.  Her eyes were all red and puffy.  I could tell she was worried about him.

Maria's Pov.  ( Her mother.)

I just looked at him for the longest time.  I couldn't believe this was all happening.

"I'm sorry James.  I'm sorry I couldn't be here with you, Im sorry I was gone all the time, I'm sorry that we always agured about money and other stupid things.  I miss you please , please make it out alive.  I need you the kids need you, we all need you.  I'm sorry. "

I grabbed his hand. Hopefully he could hear me.  Hopefully he was still alive.  I heard someone stepping into the room.  I quickly turned around.  It was Claire. She looks so much like her father.   She had his crystal blue eyes. That shined like the ocean.  She had long light brown hair with a mixture of red and blond. She had a very tiny frame.  Her sister May looks like me though.  May has brown eyes.  Her hair was blonde.  Our son , Jason has straight blondish/ brownish hair.  He has a mixture of eye colors.  His eyes are blue with a mixture of green and another color that I have no clue of.  We were blessed with 3 beautiful children. I just I would have been there for them.

Claire's Pov.

The doctor came into the room.  She walked over to my mother.

"Mrs. Mathews, We have good news and bad news." Her voice was calming.

"Can we hear the bad news first." My mothers voice came out as if a demand except it wasn't strong like it used to be.  It sounded weak.  She always wanted to get the bad news out of the way first.

"If Mr. Mathews is not out of a coma in a week we will have to pull the plug." Before she could continue, my mother cut her off.

"Why only a week? Why not a month?"

"It is not in your budget." She spoke while looking right into my mothers eyes.

"We will do anything we can,  please just a little more time,  we have more money." My mother begged.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Mathews theres really nothing more we can do." She stopped and spoke in a hush tone. " There is no possibility that he can live.  He has 1% chance that he will live out of 99.  I'm sorry." She finished looking what seemed to be the monitor of my dads heart rate.  It was steady.  It must be because of the machine.

My whole world was falling apart this cant be possible.  He would be fine if it wasn't for me.
