A Wish

Part 4.

I dropped my phone.

When Jake says that somthing is an emergancy it is.

I decided to just run, Jakes house is knly a couple of blocks away.

Once I rang his doorbell I forgot to call my parents and tell them that I was at Jakes.

I reached into mh pockt to look for my phone. 

Crap nothing was there! I must have left it at my house, all well I ll just call them off of Jakes phone.

"Come in." He had a sad look on his face.

"Okay,  Is everything okay?" I asked, while stepping into his house and walking to the couch.

He slid his hand threw his messy hair.  I must have woke him up.

"Well-I um- " He looked nervous.

I just sat in my spot patiently,  waiting for him to go on.

"Would you like anything to eat or drink?" I could tell he was stalling.

"C'mon, what's  wrong? I could be sleeping right now." I joked.

"Right, well you know that my dad goes to different places for his job right?"

I just nodded.  Wondering where this was going to.  I wonder if his dad is getting fired.  Basically his dad and my dad work the same except his dad goes to places alot longer than mine.

He continued snapping me out of my thoughts.  " Well my dad has been offered a job in Florida, For a pretty long time." He said looking straight into my eyes.

"Are you serious!" I asked stunned.

"Are you mad?" He asked me with worried expressions.

"Of course Im mad how could your dad just leave you guys and move?! I can't  believe he is doing something like this. Well dont worry you don't  need him you could have my dad, He loves you like a son anyways."  It was true,  my dad loved Jake because Jake was always there for me.

He looked shocked, A little confused as well.  I hope I didnt scare him I mean Im pretty sure I told him that. 

"No, you aren't  getting this,  My dad is moving but my mother an I are going with him." He said looking everywhere else but at me.
