a/n: So Jon's character is going to be a little different, I'm kinda making up some of my own plot to go with his character? Relax, relax. The whole "Two superman's" Will still happen, it's just a matter of how i decide to write it out. So if some things don't seem right with Jon's backstory, it's because I'm switching some things up.
(The batgirl in this is Steph, Oracle is Barbara. I don't think I mentioned who was batgirl yet, but if I said that Barbara was batgirl? Toss that out and pretend I never said it please. I may have said Barbara was batgirl, but if so that was a mistake. I need Batgirl to be Steph in this story for right now, and so far? The only two batgirls in this fic to show up are Barbara and Steph. I do plan on possibly having Cass show up, but I want to do it differently.)

"Dad's gonna lose it." Jon mumbled to himself, short red cape crumpling under his body as he sits up in the middle of the field.

"If Kon was still superboy, this probably wouldn't have happened." He added, pressing his palm to his forehead and wincing, at the pain. Which shouldn't be happening, because he's Superboy. Sure, emphasis on the boy part. He's not Superman. But that's his dad. Jon may be half human, but he's still half Kryptonian. If anything, his Kryptonian side is a bit stronger. But him being half human on his mother's side, doesn't exactly explain why he's in so much pain. His head is throbbing, and his hands are burning. He feels sick to his stomach, and when he puffs out his cheeks as if they're being filled with vile, he leans over to the side and arches his back while watching todays lunch spill out on the grass before him. Only now he regrets having so many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, is when he's able to smell them mixed with his stomach acid and god knows what else he's eaten today.

It wasn't a meteor headed for earth, it was smaller. Jon convinced his dad that he had it under control, telling him to trust him a little bit. Clark was uneasy about it, but in the end? It wasn't like a large meteor was heading towards earth, it was nothing that would cause any real damage. Clark said he'd be on the way halfway through, wanting to give Jon a chance to prove that he's just as good as Kon was.

Jon can already hear Bruce lecturing him on how unsafe it was to let him go on this on his own, and can already hear the lecture Bruce would be giving Clark on child safety. Maybe even a lecture on all the things that could have gone wrong. But now ever since Kon, there's something that Bruce and Clark share in common more than just a mother with the same name.

Kon died. He came back, but he isn't the same. He was dead for an entire year, a lot's happened. Kon's still trying to cope, it's been a couple years since his death and all. When Kon came back different, not only did he come back angry? But powerless. It's one thing to come back from the dead and see it looks like you've been replaced, but it's another thing to pick a fight with a ten year old boy and loose because you don't have anymore powers.

Then it's a complete and utterly different thing when you find out that the real Clark Kent has gone missing, and the one in his place is just another Clark Kent from another reality. A lot happened while Kon was dead, and he just happened to come back at such an unfortunate time.

Weird thing to be thinking about while vomiting, right? Jon wondering about what Kon would have done in his situation. Whereas Jon tried to stop the impact by flying in front of it, stopping right there and sticking his hands out as if he were trying to catch a dodgeball aimed to his gut. No, something ripped right on past him and warped his own perception of time for a split second. But that split second was enough time for whatever was plummeting towards the earth to ripple right on through him. It's probably why he's so nauseous and getting sick.
