When I unlocked the door and open it , cold breeze hit my face
I smiled
Finally , I am free
"Don't go" I heard a voice behind
It was Adam

" look Adam I really can't stan-" I started while turning around to look at him
Suddenly I see him collapsing on the floor
Tears running down his face
"A-Adam are y-you O-okay?"I said worried

In front of me stood a weak figure
This is not the Adam I know
And this is driving me insane
"You can't leave me" he said staring right into my eyes

Making me nervous
I shifted my weight from from one leg to the other
" and w-why is t-that?" I said crossing my hands over my chest
He suddenly got up closed the door locked it

Grabbed my hand roughly and started walking upstairs
"Adam leave my hand you're hurting me" I said
No answer
"Adam"still no answer
"Adam!"

He opened the door to his room
And threw me severely on his bed
I started to get nervous
What is he going to do to me!?
Rape and kill .

That's it I am going to die at this young age
He surprised me when he sat on the edge of the bed
Placing his elbows on his knees
Staring right into the painting

"Adam I-" I started but he cut me off
" it's beautiful isn't it?" He said still staring at it

His face full of emotions
" This is my mother" he said shocking me
" is it ? " I asked impressed
"She is beautiful " I said

I wonder what his father looks like
Because Adam surely did not look like his mother
Maybe a little bit
But he's handsome

"Who drew that?" I asked interested
" my father" he said simply
"He was a painter , a very popular one
But they killed him "
"Oh my god i am so sorry
who did that ?!And why!?" I said , stunned.

" my mother's Father , brother and husband.
Her father made her marry A-Alexander because he owed him money
And then he couldn't get him all the money
So Alexander decided that he needed my mother instead
She didn't love him

In fact she hated all men because of her father and brother
But then one day a popular painter decided to visit their village
He was attracted to her and started following her everywhere she would go.

Everyday for the past four weeks they would meet in secret ,When her husband went out to work
Then they decided that they'll escape the village and live happily ever after
But that wasn't the case
They lived happily for like a week or two

That's when my mom got pregnant
Her father and brother soon found out where we were living
They first took my father k-killed him in front of her eyes
Then they took my mother back to her husband .

Few months after I was born
Everything seemed fine
Until one day , when I was six years old

Alexander got home late in the night drunk as hell
He started h-hitting her non-stop
I wanted to kill him I was angry but scared;

I started crying and screaming at him to make him stop
But I couldn't I was too small
I remember him saying 'you fucking bitch I know you miss your painter but guess what? He's dead'

And I remember his laugh echoing through the house 'you slut'
He punched

Hit

Slapped

And smacked her

And When he finally stopped hitting her she f-fell on the floor lifelessly without a single movement
I was so scared that day

But I remember every single motion like it was yesterday
But I couldn't help her! I-i was such a fucking coward I couldn't help my own mother from that monster!!"he then bursted into tears

I was taken a back by all this
I can't believe he was hiding all of this inside of him inside this big muscular figure , a little broken boy

I got up quickly and hugged him tears running down my cheeks
"I Am so sorry" I said
Feeling his tears on my shirt
