Chapter 39

Adam
I woke the next day feeling pounding in my head
Probably from the very uncomfortable sleep on the Couch , so I got up and put my shoes back on

Charisma was probably still- I though checking the bed wait where is she?
I took a look at my pocket , the key wasn't there , she even left the worn t-shirt and boxers neatly folded on the made bed
So I got out of the room , following the voices coming from upstairs

John , Rose and Charisma we're talking and chatting loudly about something that I couldn't understand
"Good morning " I said , taking a seat next to Charisma whom I felt tensed a little hearing my voice

"Good morning " John replied then went back to his conversation with Rose
" how did you know were I've hidden the keys?" I whispered in Charisma's ear , finding something to talk to her
"The little bird told me" she mocked focusing her eyes on her plate

"It's kinda rude you know, you didn't even ask " I said
"Said the one who kidnapped a young girl few weeks ago, I don't remember you asking " she said ironically looking up at me
"Plus , I don't have to ask you anything , i can do whatever I want to do " she said getting off of her seat , heading upstairs

Charisma
I watched the warm water hitting my soft hand and sending shivers down my spine , relaxing every single cell in my body

"What the fuck are you doing?" A voice woke me from my relaxation
And it's of course none other than Mr. Adam
"Can you stop following me around? God" I said drying my hands with the green towel

Ready to quit the bathroom but he pulled me back and pushed me gently to the wall closing the door with his foot
"Charisma" he whispered getting closer
"I've missed you" he stoped , took a deep breath and continued "this past week was so hard to me , i couldn't eat properly, sleep properly or even work properly , God dammit , i couldn't live normally , my life without you"

and as soon as these words left his mouth , I started to wonder , how can you be so attached to someone
And I was too, afraid that I'll get to a point where I'll get this  attached to someone

"Talk to me " he said , forcing me to raise my head and stare into his chocolate brown eyes
( btw guys his eyes are brown and hazel )
"I-I don't know what to say" I said
He looked into my eyes then down to my lips . Oh god.
He started to lean in , more, and more and more
"Charisma! Are you in here ?" I hear Rose screaming from outside

"Um..I-i am coming " I said nervously   hoping she won't come in , looking up at Adam who on the other had an amused look on his face
"Okay we'll be waiting downstairs" Rose said as  I heard  her footsteps fading away

I quickly pushed him away , opened the bathroom door and headed downstairs ,
But I feel something strange , is it disappointment
Come on Charisma we know you wanted that kiss
Shut up I didn't
Yes you did, you wanted him to try harder
Can you stop ? I didn't , and I hate his kisses
I said ending the discussion with myself

"Charisma , John and i decided to go a fancy diner tonight , the four of us " she Said clapping her hands with excitement
"What do you mean by the 'four'?" I asked
" You , me , John and Adam" she replied

"Is this good? " I asked getting bored from trying these dresses
"Charisma , what the hell is that?" Rose said
" Rose why can't you just go on a romantic date with John alone, I mean you won't be able to see him a lot after, you need to spend some time together " I said hoping she could change her mind

" no , we've already made the reservations and I promise you we're going to have fun" she said
I got back in the fitting room trying the last dress , and I think it's the one

I really have to apologize for taking so long to update, but I am so busy with school and homeworks , like it's the second week and we're already starting exams,
