MY ADVENTURE TO THE GREAT WORLD OD MOOCASHO CHAPTER 13

sorry for the long wait but i was busy, so i wanted to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to one of my two best friends whos birth day was yesterday and monday HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY AND OSSINIA!!!! this chapter is dedicated to you two. hope you injoy byeee!!!

CHAPTER 13

I woke up screaming. That dream was so real. Mazoola must have really gotten into my head, I looked around the cave we were sleeping in, and Julia was gone so I imagined that she was outside the cave standing guard. I decided to go outside to calm myself down. When I stepped out of the cave I expected to see Julia sitting on a rock or something but she was nowhere to be seen. I thought maybe she went for a late night stole in the jungle, Julia knew her way around here so I knew she wouldn’t get lost, I sat down on a big rock that was just outside the cave. I had only been outside for a couple of sound was coming from. As I got closer, I could hear two different voices. I wasn’t walking for long before I saw the faces that the voices were coming from.  When I got close enough so I could see who was talking but they could not see me. I realized there was a man; he looked around 40 to 50 years old. He had dark brown hair and green eyes, he looked very strong and intimidating but if you looked deep enough in his eyes I could see that there was lots of pain there.

The man was talking to a young girl, she had long curly blonde hair and she was wearing a red jacket, just like the one had seen in my dream. I tried to get closer so I could see her face but I didn’t want to risk getting caught.

“How long is it going to take her, you said you would have it two days ago. What’s taking that stupid sister of mine so long!” said the girl from my dream.

“We have to be patient; she only found it when they found her. You will get what I promised you as long as you make sure I get what you promised me.” The man said

“You insult me lord moocasho, you really think I would not hold up my end of the bargain” she said. I let out a little yelp when I realized that the man standing right in front of me, was the horrible king moocasho the one that kidnapped Maggie. I realized that making a noise when I am hiding from people was probably not the best idea because the king and the girl both snapped their head in my direction obviously hearing my little yelp. I tucked as fast as I could but I don’t think it was fast enough.

“Did you hear that?” said the girl

“Who’s there?” the king said “come out here now. I am king moocasho and whoever you are I order you to reveille yourself now, or suffer the consequences!” he said in a very kingly voice, I could understand why everyone was so afraid of him if I didn’t think he would kill me if I showed myself I would have, but I was smarter than that so I did the opposite. I got up and ran in the opposite direction of the camp, probably not my smartest moment but I can’t think straight in a life or death situations.

“I will take care of this” said the girl.  She pulled a little knife out of her boot and started running after me. I was so scared I knew that by “take care of this” she meant she was going to kill me, so I kept running. I ran all the way to a dead end. Just my luck, I was running for my life and I end up in a dead end. I was looking for a place to hide when I heard the girl yelling to me.

“You can’t run forever the king has eyes everywhere we will find you; it will be much easier if you just came out now.” She said. To my left there was a really big tree, and I knew that the girl was getting close, so I jumped behind it and stayed as quiet as I could. I heard the girl come through the trees that I came in from and I knew that any minute she would find and kill me. I looked around me for anything I could use to protect myself with. There was a long thick branch in front of me so I grabbed it and held it close to my chest.

“Where are you little girl. I know you’re here” she said, she was walking around and she was just about to look behind the tree when I jumped out from behind the tree and tried to swing at the girls head but she was too fast, she ducked and swung her knife at my leg and I fell on the ground in pain, she had there was now a need wound on my right leg. The girl walked over to in front of me, she knelt down beside me and put the knife to my neck.

“You think you can beat me with a stupid branch?” she said

“Well you were going to kill me anyway, I had to do something I could not just let you kill me” I said

“And how did that work out for you? Now you get to die anyway” she said then she stabbed me in the stomach. I was looking into her eyes when everything went black…

MAGGIE AND CALIN

On their way to Maggie’s room, she had told Calin the whole story of how they had come to moocasho. He had stayed quiet and listened to it all. When they got inside the room it was his turn to speak.

“So your friends just chose to go with some random girl they just met and let you go out into the dangerous forest with three turtlelions?” he said

“Yup, some friends right, but they did give me this to protect myself” Maggie said pulling the whistle out of her bag. When Calin saw the whistle his eyes widened and he put his hands over Maggie’s to cover the whistle and he whispered,

“Put that away, if my father finds out that you have you won’t live to see the sun rise tomorrow morning” Maggie quickly put the whistle back into her bag.

“What do you think your father wants with me?” she said looking up into calins eyes.

“There could be many reasons, your new, you beautiful and young and you’re…” he said looking down into her eyes. Calin leaned in and was about to kiss Maggie when Hester opened the door. Maggie and Calin stepped back.

“Oh, your highness what are you doing in here?” Hester said eying the both of us. Maggie’s face was red as a tomato. But Calin seemed totally unfazed about all of this.

“I saw this young lady lost in the hall so I decided to help her find her room” he said

“Well I just wanted to make sure that Miss Maggie made it to her room alright” he said looking at Maggie, “well it’s getting late and Maggie as an early start tomorrow she needs to sleep”

“Your right I should go, it was nice talking to you Maggie, maybe I will see you tomorrow then, goodnight” Calin said walking towards Hester who was waiting at the door.

“Goodnight” Maggie said, and once Calin was out of earshot Hester said to Maggie

“If you know what is good for you, you will stay away from that prince.”  And with that he shut the door and Maggie was left in her big empty room all alone.
