Summer Pt 1

It's the summer now and let's just see how it goes...

So I got into this really good academic program called Jump High and there are three different campuses. Tiana and Maddie don't go to this program so I had to make all new friends at my campus. My old friend from back home named Kaitlyn also goes to Jump High but at a different campus.

The first few days of the program were really lit and I had already had enough time to form a whole squad. It consisted of me, Arieille, Jada, Ariel, Kennedy, and Delilah. We went and did pretty much everything together and always made each other laugh. Since we were able to make so many friends so quickly and be ourselves everywhere, people were starting to get jealous and hate on us but it didn't phase us because we didn't come to Jump High for drama.

So every year, the program does a three day camping trip and they mix the three campuses all up meaning all of us wouldn't always be together. Turns out I was on the bus with Kaitlyn, in a cabin with Ariel, Jada, & Kaitlyn, and ate meals with Tabitha, Delilah, & Arieille. So in a way I was still with my friends but it's not like I wasn't going to make friends with the people in my group for the trip.

First day of camping trip
So when we first got there we were mainly just walking around and getting settled, my group was pretty boring and quiet so far but it was only the first day so maybe that was why. We went to play volleyball and there was this carmel boy with a cute curly haircut standing right in front of me. I already knew how he looked because I saw his face earlier and remembered him. After that, my group, 5 and his group 6, went to archery. It was fun and was where I met my new friend Gustavo and hung out with my friends Michelle and Isabella. After archery we went to high ropes and did ziplining, rope walking, and wall climbing, which was a great experience. Then we had dinner, showers, and returned to our cabins. My cabin stayed up all night playing never have I ever and telling first kiss stories.

Second day of camping trip
So after breakfast and everything, we went to the lake and there was way to much freaking seaweed everywhere. But there was a water trampoline or in the water that I swam to as well as a slide which was really cool. But then when I was standing on the dock, that boy from yesterday, (found out his name yesterday) JC pushed me in the lake! Like wtf! But I still had fun because I got some rides on other campers' boats and we called it Maruber, Marine Uber. Then we went to lunch and afterwards to the pool. Me and my friend didn't want to get in the pool at first but it looked so fun so we did. Her and this boy Cal liked each other so they were flirting in the pool and he even picked her up and threw her into the water #goals. Then this one girl called JC by his real name and he knew it was her so he was about to do something to her but then came over to me in a joking manner like I said something about him and pushed me underwater. Then everything was going ok and that same girl said his real name again but he only splashed her and came over to me again and interlocked his fingers with mine and pushed me under water but we didn't let the grip go until my friend splashed his back, like that was going to do anything. Then we played some group games outside and went to low ropes which wasn't as fun as high ropes but still fun. Later on we had s'mores by the campfire and made tie die shirts.
That Night
That night, somebody overheard the counselors talking about a prank and said they were planning a water balloon fight when we went on the midnight walk. So the word got around and no one was in their own cabins, we were just everywhere doing whatever talking, playing, roaming, and trying to get prepared for whatever prank there would be. We kept getting in trouble for being out of the cabins but no one really cared. So when it was finally time for the walk, we went to a spot to see the stars and saw the big dipper. No prank so far. Then when we were walking back all of a sudden the lights shut off and people started running back the other way while screaming. I was confused and scared because I didn't know if that was the prank or if something actually happened. Either way, in a way it was fun. That whole day was perfect to end the trip.

The last day

This day is just boring and dry we really didn't do anything but get our shirts, play gaga, and play volleyball. Then we finished packing, waited for a while and finally got on the buses. I was on bus one with Kaitlyn and JC was on bus two. We kept looking back and forth at each other and that was the last time I saw him in person. We got on the buses and went our separate ways. On the bus, me and Kaitlyn were tired so we talked about our crushes for a while and the trip all together but we kept getting interrupted by a group of people also on our bus who were so excited about Snapchat like they had just gotten it the day before. But the thing is they were so freaking loud for no reason and their conversation didn't make sense at all! But eventually me and Kaitlyn drifted off to sleep.

I wish the trip would have lasted longer but at the same time I was glad to be home.
