(WARNING, LONG CHAPTER)

For those of you who have been or know what a charter school is, you'll understand that there's not as many people in a classroom and eventually everyone is going to speak, sooner or later. This may seem a bit relatable.

It was lunchtime, and red and his friends decided to walk around and talk about life. Of course red was careful not to mention any touchy subjects. Then, fate struck! While walking around the perimeter of their school, the squad (even though I feel uncomfortable saying it, this not my story and based on true events of a friend of velvet and I ) bumped into blue and the other popular kids playing basketball. Red was definitely popular, but never really acted like it if you catch my drift. Blue saw red and smiled. At first red and his closest friends yellow, beige, and green were confused. Blue was HOT, why would he be smiling at them. That's when blue spoke with a confident grin.

" These guys are cool. I like you guys."

The squad looked at one another, shrugged it off and continued their walk. A few weeks later, blue's younger brother sky blue was having a birthday party. And in an ironic twist had unknowingly invited red's younger brother violet red!

" I think you might know his brother. He's in your class."

Realization hit red like a brick. Sky blue was blue's younger brother! And because his parents didn't want violet red alone at a party, the parents took it upon themselves to bring red and blue as well. Mainly because Blue had, and I quote, " SPECIFICALLY invited him. Going as far as calling him a "Best Friend." But red and blue said very few words to one another, how could he already be his best friend?

The next day was just embarrassment. At the birthday party at Chucky Cheese, red and blue accidentally sat together, and red's older brother muttered "Aww!" Loud enough for blue to hear. At this point when red looked up blushing, blue winked. Wait, what!? Then, as they went for refills, blue joked about him and red beating up the mascot for gold coin tokens and red giggled. Like seriously giggled! What was happening to him, he probably thinks to himself. Do I...?

His thoughts cut off when it was time to go. But before they got in the car, red urged his older brother to help him get blue's number. You know, because they were friends. At school, red couldn't live this down! Many questions were asked and answered.

" Because he's my new best friend." Was all that red and blue said.

Now the two were hanging out more frequently. Even trying to partner up on group projects! Red was popular again. But there was a few little...skid bumps. You see, blue was a bit........ opinionated when it came to teachers. He was a bad boy. He had Red wanting to break rules had had never been caught breaking. What? You thought red was some kind of real life Gary Stu? Good boys are bad ones who haven't been caught.

Beige, one of red's closest friends. These two had a bond ever since beige was a new kid. Red was the only one besides peach who he talked to. Green and yellow suspected something they decided not to talk about. (Keep in mind, yellow and green liked to ship people)

Beige thought it would be best if red stopped hanging out with blue. He was bad, and he was maybe, just maybe turning red. Yellow, Green, and peach thought beige was jealous. He had yet to reply. Red felt a little spark ignite in him. He had never felt like this, genuinely interested in other people's company.

In blue's company.
