So this was it. Red was moving, and his friend was pretty upset. and surprise, surprise, blue was pissed. " Can I keep you, so you don't ever leave?" He muttered in a joking angry kinda way. Red chuckled and the heat grazed his cheeks. He'd really need to stop doing that.
Class was beginning to settle, but red and blue stood there, awkwardly waiting for pink to show up in her shiny blue hummer. He had been following blue around like a lost puppy. It was adorably sad. " You know I'm REALLY gonna miss you." Blue had managed to break the silence. Red didn't know what to say. It was real complicated in that head of his. " Blue, there's something I should--!" Then, that car rolled up. That shiny blue car with pink inside. She waved at red with a genuine smile, and he guiltily waved back. Ugh, why she have to be so NICE! Couldn't she have been like those mean girls on tv or something!?
At lunch, red and blue ( who had surprisingly at next to him) sat alone within eye distance from yellow, beige, green, and the new kid grey. He was...very vivid. Yeah, let's say that (f*****g nuts!) Anywho, blue talked about how red was his only friend, he couldn't leave. At this point, red wanted to hug him but refrained himself.
News traveled through the school fast of pink and blue FINALLY calling it quits FOR GOOD! Red had overhead it from yellow, who alone next to with blue. Needless to say, breaking out your quote unquote "happy dance" in the middle of a parking lot was....not as bad as it sounded, actually. So blue stopped showing up unexpectedly. He blocked EVERYONE from Facebook, Twitter, ect. The ultimate f**k you of breakups! Red had actually began to make his own. Hanging out with the popular kids while Casually keeping his best friend close. Come to think of it, his friend beige (who, when I talked to his group was the THIRD smartest kid in class) was getting kind of close. Hugging, taunting him, putting flowers from the bush with the bees in his hair. That's not flirting.....right?
Seriously, right?
The final week of school came along pretty fast. New unexpected friendships were made, dramatic breakdowns and threats of kicking one's ass....'nother story, completely irrelevant. Best omg moment, but irrelevant. The time was here to show how much everyone had improved over the years! Yeah, maturity! And to celebrate, olive garden came and gave them awesome food. Like, totes to die for stuff. One teacher, Mrs. Cerulean told them something a little ahead of time.
" Okay, blue is here. Nobody talk to him just grab your ish and go." Not her words, but she was probably thinking it. " What did she say!?" "Blue's back?"
" This is gonna be awkward!" Yellow looked at red sympathetically. He was just tired of this whole gone again disappearing act! They went over to their other teachers class, and a gasp accidentally slipped from his lips causing blue to lift his head. Ohhhh shhhiiiiitake mushrooms. His best friend/ crush right there. And he can't even talk to him!?" Psst. Hey, come here!" Could he be hearing this correct? Maybe he was just talking to pink. Maybe he just wanted to start over and--.
" Psst. RED!" Holy shhhiiiiitake mushrooms! He looked at blue motioning for him to come over. He looked at the long line of hungry ass children and spoke. " I thought we weren't supposed to talk to you!" By now people were watching this shout whisper match go down, and yellow, pink and green were CRACKING UP! Without thinking of all the hard work independent woMAN thing he once again clicked onto his lost puppy persona. " I came back to see you. Please?" Blue finally admitted. Red sped over but beige caught his shoulder. "Please. All he's done is change you. "
But nope, cinderelly found prince sata-- erm, charming. He sat down and blue smiled. Why? Just why? After talking it up, red watched wistfully and the moment of blue playing football burned in his lovesick brain.
Until the last day of school. he didn't show up red I mean. And the two kind of drifted apart. Just recently red tried to call blue, a giddy little smile on his face. He wanted to tell him today we had finished the book....
.....but there was no answer. So he wanted to make a Facebook page, but we thought that maybe it wouldn't be a good idea. Red saw blue last month at his older brother's graduation. But he only talked about his new girlfriend. And that was the last time they made contact. To this day, red still regrets not taking a chance to tell him. Tell him he liked him.
The End.
