Now that red had the self confidence he needed. This sassy new character became blue's right hand friend. That is until pink came along. Pink was tall, thin, pretty. Something red knew he couldn't be. That brought him back down to earth. Who was he kidding, he could never compete with that! But, why would he want to. He didn't like blue. Right?
Red was never one for showing skin. He even wore a T-shirt to a pool only two other people who showed up! But his friends started noticing something. His shirts were much more v-neck and see through. He wore skinny ripped jeans and graphic tees with bands he had never listened to.
And everyday was the same question ever since pink and blue stuck a little too close for comfort. " Do you think their dating?" Unfortunately, he got his answer. Everyday became more and more depressing. He became something he had put beige through that whole two months ago. Red became a third wheel. And then eventually a forth. Then, he just broke off the bike entirely.
Now, his more...mature side came resulting in his nickname, mom. He always gave wonderful advice to his friends, relationships, friendships, make-ups, breakups you name it. He went from couldn't wait to be next to blue, to dreading blue's entire existence. HE. WAS. DONE! Or so he thought.
Pink and blue were that on and off couple you'd here about in movies. They'd be together for five episodes, and by episode eight, it's middle school: civil war. It became pretty tiresome after the (and we personally asked my friend [he doesn't feel comfortable being named] ) twelfth and final breakup. Everyone pretty much agreed they were walking toxic.
So blue asked red to spend the night. That hadn't talked much, and red became a much more forgivable person, he agreed. Twice. Twice, blue spent the night and red's feelings rekindled. They were partners in crime (though their friendship was rocky) again! Until the dream saga.
Blue was having an extremely had time after the breakups and they played a bit on his psyche. So much he broke down in the middle of class. And that broke red's heart. So blue stopped coming to school, leaving his fate undetermined. Red wanted desperately to call, but felt he should give blue space. He felt anxious a few times, but refused to put his stupid emotions in front of blue's. Rumors were tossed about, and eventually everyone thought he wasn't coming back again. For the second time
Yellow spoke to his mother one day. She told her that unfortunately he did not take the breakup well. He had been trying to kill himself. Ouch. Yellow informed a worried mama red that he would be coming back after these several months of no contact, messages, nothing! Red jumped up screaming " yay, yay, yay, yay!" In the middle of class. Awkward.
But yellow was hiding something. And she gave off a sorry look. DID SOMETHING HAPPEN TO BLUE!? She told him the news. Blue was calling to talk to someone. But who? Why, yellow of course. Tears welled up in red's eyes. Was it something he did to make his crush mad at him? Maybe he should've called. Maybe he could've cared a LITTLE more!? Or maybe they were as toxic as pink and blue were. He didn't know whether he was angry at himself, yellow or blue. So he blamed himself.
To make matters worse the teacher switched seats. Yellow and blue had the tables in the back all to themselves. And who did red sit next to? The model in training (which shocked me when he told us) herself.
He sat next to pink.
