When Sam woke up there was a whole bunch of notifications from TheTrickster. He seemed to have gone and read more of Sam's book. Sam smiled slightly as he read all the comments. Sam knew TheTrickster was a fun and jokey person from the stuff he would always post, the completely random messages to followers.
The last comment was from not that long ago, and Sam decided to reply to that one.
TheTrickster: "You know, you're really making me question the universe here moosey"
Moosechester: "That's generally my aim in life :P"
It didn't take long for TheTrickster to reply to that comment.
TheTrickster: "Whyyy you cruel person...and I can't stop reading. You've trapped me. *sighs*"
Sam chuckled.
Moosechester: "Hey you're the one who clicked on the book, it was your choice"
TheTrickster: "Nope, completely entirely your fault"
Moosechester: "Yes because I forced you to click that button"
TheTrickster: "Well who else would've?"
Moosechester: "You."
TheTrickster: "Pft you can't force yourself to do things"
Moosechester: "Yeah you really can"
Sam then looked at the time and realized he had classes not long from now, so he put his phone down and started to get ready.
About half the day later, after Sam got out of his college class, he checked his phone again. TheTrickster had replied, and had also read more of the book, leaving a trail of comments behind him.
Sam was reading the comments with a small smile when one of his friends came running over.
"That is very suspicious," Charlie said. "You're smiling at your phone. And last time I checked you didn't have a boyfriend."
Sam rolled his eyes. "People are commenting," he said. Charlie knew he wrote fanfiction, and she did too, coz you know, fangirling.
"Oo what are they saying?" Charlie asked. "Who is it?"
"It's The Trickster," Sam said.
"Wait you mean your favourite fanfic author?" Charlie asked. "No way."
"Yep," Sam said, smiling while still looking at his phone. He got to the last comment, which was only a few minutes ago again. This guy really mustn't do much in his spare time.
Moosechester: "Really spamming me there, aren't you?"
TheTrickster: "Oh it's not annoying is it?"
Moosechester: "Nope, it's the best part of my day. Please continue to do so."
"Charlie, what are you doing?" Sam asked, looking at Charlie who was now frantically clicking around on her phone.
"Wow you two are adorable," she said. "I'm reading your conversations."
"Stalker much," Sam muttered.
"You know what, I ship it," Charlie said.
"I don't even know his name," Sam said.
"I could probably figure it out," Charlie said. "I'll hack some things."
Sam just sighed. Once Charlie shipped it, there was no escaping. He looked back to his phone.
TheTrickster: "Couldn't stop me if ya tried."
