"Hey Cas," Dean said. "Are you an angel? Coz your beauty is blinding."
Cas chuckled from where he was sitting next to Dean on the couch at the Winchester's house. About a week had passed since the last chapter, and Dean was still doing pick up lines.
"Well considering you always call me angel," Cas said, winking at Dean. Dean froze for a second.
"Since when do you flirt back?" Dean said. "You're supposed to be clueless and innocent."
Cas shrugged. "You're the one giving me continuous pick up lines."
"Have any of them worked yet?"
"Nope."
"Damn. What if I do science ones?"
"Such as?"
"I was to unzip your genes and find out why you are so beautiful."
Cas blinked for a second before he burst out laughing. "Oh my dad why..."
"I love you more than 3.14," Dean said.
"Pi?" Cas asked.
"Yeah," Dean said. "And I love me some pie." Cas laughed again.
"You're an idiot," Cas said, smiling at Dean.
"Ah you love it," Dean said. "So, you still think my pick up lines are bad?"
"They're pretty bad."
"Oh come ooonnnnn," Dean whined, pouting.
Cas just chuckled again, glancing at his phone for the time. "Hey I have classes soon so I have to go."
"Aww but Caasss," Dean whined again. "I'm bored."
"Then unpack," Cas said, gesturing to the boxes sitting around the room. Dean glared at the boxes as if they had personally offended him.
"Don't wanna," Dean muttered.
"Lazy assbutt," Cas said. "If you unpack, I'll come over after classes." Dean immediately jumped up from the couch and walked over to the nearest box. Cas chuckled. "See you later Dean."
"Bye angel," Dean said, smiling at Cas as Cas walked out of the house to his car. Cas smiled to himself as he got into his car. Dean was so obvious...Cas didn't know what to do, but Dean did make him happy so...

Cas shuffled nervously as his teacher called him over at the end of class.
"Okay," Ellen said. All the students just called their teacher Ellen. "This book that you've written Castiel..."
"Oh right," Cas said, relieved that he wasn't in trouble. "So...have you read any of it?"
"I've read the entire thing," Ellen said. "You're missing the ending."
"Yeah..." Cas said. "I haven't decided how to end it yet..."
"Finish it," Ellen said. "I need the ending."
Cas smiled shyly. "So...what do you think?"
"I think your writing is amazing," Ellen said. "And heartbreaking. Grammar is consistent, you could use better syntax sometimes. Overall structure is good other than the lack of an ending." Cas nodded, making mental notes. "Oh and...who's it based on?"
"What?" Cas asked, temporarily taken aback.
"The main character's closest friend that he's in love with," Ellen said. "It sounds like a boy I used to know."
"A friend of mine," Cas said, smiling softly as he thought of Dean.
"Sounds like a Winchester," Ellen muttered. Cas blinked.
