Chapter Eight - Nature Show

Blinding sunlight hit boys the second they stepped through the door to the other side.  They walked into steep yellow grass.  They were in the middle of a huge field of it.  Off in the horizon there were a few unfamiliar looking trees.  What they didn't see was any sign of civilization.  No, buildings, roads, or anything man made.  All of them scanned over the surroundings.  Unsure of what to think.

"Sooo....any clue where we are?"  Louis puzzled.

All the boys shook their heads in confusion except for Zayn.

"Boys, I think we're in Africa."

"Africa?"  The other four all said in unison.

"Yes, the African Savanna to be exact."  They all continued to stare at him.  "What, you guys never watched any nature shows."  He still got blank stares as a response.

"Come on lads, you really have never seen what the African Savanna looks like?"  Giggles escaped from their lips.  Zayn rolled his eyes.

"Sorry mate, we're just messing with ya."  Louis manged to say in between fits of laughter.

"Yeah, of course we know what Africa looks like."  Liam stated.

Suddenly a loud voice echoed down.  It sounded as if it was coming from the sky.  "And here we have One Direction enjoying laughing at their fellow band mate as they take in their current surroundings."

That voice, they all recognized it.  It was that typical voice that narrates almost any nature kind of show.  You know the one with the deep raspy British accent that almost everyone has probably watched at sometime or another in a science class.

"Whoa, that was weird."  Niall murmured.

They all looked around, as if they expected to see a man walking around narrating them.

"You know, what I just realized though?"  Harry remarked staring off in the distance.

"Huh?"  The boys asked.

"How are we going to find a door in the middle of Africa?  There's no walls here."  This made all the boys stop and think.

"Well, we'll have to run into something.  Right?"  Liam responded sounding a bit uncertain himself.

"Yeah, but we should start walking somewhere.  Cause we're not going to find it here."  Louis stated, looking around at the vast wilderness which surrounded them.

As they looked around decided what way to go they heard that similar narrator's voice again.  "One Direction are unsure of which direction they want to travel in."  They all furrowed their brows in confusion, not only because of they weren't sure of where they wanted to go but also because of this strange guy narrating their actions.  They picked a random direction and started walking, unsure of where the hell it would lead to.  "It looks like One Direction has picked a path."

"I wish this guy would shut up."  Louis whispered to everyone.

They're facial expressions all agreed while they nodded.

Sweat was forming droplets on all their foreheads, as they grudged forward.  They had been walking for hours in the intense sunlight and heat.  Still there were no signs of anything, but grass, and a few trees here and there.  The boys were all tired, hot, and thirsty at this point.

"One Direction still haven't found any kind of civilization or drinking source, which at this point they are all desperately craving."

"Can this guy please just stop talking."  Louis said in an aggravated tone.  He had been narrating them this whole time and they were all beyond fed up with his remarks.
