Chapter Nine - Hoarders
Still out of the breath from running away from the lioness, the boys all became extremely confused. They all had white cleaning suits on and a clear mask over their heads with gas masks for them to breathe out of. They took in the surroundings. There was junk and clutter everywhere. They were standing in a small room to begin with. It was packed, almost to the ceiling with clothes, household items, and even trash. Now they were actually a bit thankful for the suits protecting them from all the clutter.
"Where the heck are we?" Harry announced. His voice sounded a bit muffled from the mask.
Before anyone replied a huge stack of book that was up to the ceiling came tumbling down. The boys did there best to run across the jam packed room to avoid being crushed by books. It was not a smooth process trying to dash across this room, other items fell as the boys ran around them.
"I don't like this." Niall yelled as they all stood at the other end of the room now.
They noticed a door stood next to them. Wanting to be anywhere but in this room, they didn't hesitate to open it. They were shocked when they did. It revealed a hall way that lead out to a living room and dining room. The rest of the house was in the same condition if not worse than the room they stood in. The floor was covered in trash and miscellaneous items, that all looked like junk because they was in such bad shape.
The walls were dirty and cracked. There was dust everywhere, along with weird smells that they didn't even want to know what were caused by. Disgusted and horrified expressions spread across their faces as they took in what a mess this house really was.
"This is seriously just absolutely disgusting." Louis mumbled. The rest of the boys completely agreed.
"Well let's go and try to find a way out of here." Liam suggested. Quickly they all did the best they could to maneuver around all the clutter. Which was nearly impossible as you literally had to walk on top of it.
Just as they approached the kitchen Harry felt something squish underneath his foot. Dreading what he would find, he slowly looked down. He was standing on a diaper. Quickly he moved away from it. This diaper wasn't the typical size of one you'd put on a baby. It was much larger and full of something that squished which he really didn't want to even think about.
He shuddered in disgust. "I seriously need to get out of here." The other boys looked down and noticed the large full diaper that had a foot indent in it.
"Did you step on that?" Louis asked. His voice full of amusement. Harry nodded his head with a grossed out look on his face. The boys all erupted in a laughing fit at this. Making Harry's cheeks turn a subtle shade of pink.
"Okay let's just keep trying to find a way out of here." Harry announced trying to stop all the laughter. He started walking through the kitchen. This room was littered in rotten food, dirty dishes, and cans. They filled every counter and table. The floor was just as cluttered with junk here as it was everywhere else. There was a small bathroom off of the kitchen. Knowing they wouldn't like what they see, the boys still took a glance inside. If they thought the rest of house stunk, it was nothing compared to the stench in the bathroom. Hundreds and hundreds of large dirty diapers filled the floor in here. The toilet obviously wasn't working and had dirt and who knows what else covering all around it. This was the grossest sight they had seen so far.
"Okay, getting away from that." Liam stated as he and the rest of the boys quickly stumbled away from the bathroom.
They heard voices coming from the living room. It sounded like people arguing. The boys stopped and tried to listen as best as they could. It was definitely people bickering. They walked closer and peaked there heads around the door opening so they could see into the living room.
