JJ opened the car door for you, no words being spoken. He slammed it behind you once you got in, doing the same when he entered the car as well. It was absolutely silent besides your one attempt to talk to him.

"JJ, lis-"

"Dakota, stop talking."

He just snapped out, accelerating the car even faster, hands gripping the wheel, knuckles turning practically pink.

"JJ, slow the car down." You whispered out to him. He couldn't help but listen, detecting the slight fear in your voice.

He slowed down almost to a stop, pulling into the driveway to the house he shared with the sidemen. It was practically a home to you, and you weren't going to allow that to change because he was mad at you. These guys were your best friends.

He gripped your wrist harshly, and you quickly tugged it back. You followed him up the stairs, though. He was already yelling before you even got to your room, and the guys did what they could, stopping their recording sessions.

"You let him lay his hands on you, what the fuck!"

He yelled out, voice booming. To add to the intimidation factor, he stood tall, towering over you.

"Well, since you were in the bathroom, I take it that you had no idea what happened! He put his hands on me, and I couldn't push him back! I know I'm strong, but not that strong!"
You yelled back, you weren't letting this go.

"And if you have any sense in you," you went on.

"Then you'd realize that I'm your girlfriend, and I'm not a whore!"

"Well, you're mine. You belong to me. You didn't have to let him touch you!"

All the words that you spoke flew right over his head, that's how he got when he was angry. He was furious.

"Don't talk about me like I'm a damn object!" You accused, pointing a finger at him.

At this point, Josh had stepped in behind you, pulling you back a bit.

"Dakota, calm down."

"No, Josh! Because apparently I'm an object that only belongs to Jide! Because I guess that when somebody comes up to me, I have to let them touch me. I couldn't push him back. It isn't my fault, but to him, of course it is! Right JJ?"

JJ scoffed at your words, and his hand raised.
At this point, you knew that he could have stooped so low to violence. So, you did what you know.

You cowered.

JJ pressed his lips together in a thin line, taking a step closer, which you shook your head, taking one more step back.

"Dako-"

"Please, don't." You breathed, getting your arms out of Josh's grip, grabbing your handbag and going down the stairs quickly, brushing shoulders with Simon harshly, and he tried stopping you.

You just quickly went past him, opening the door and slamming it shut.

At the hotel you decided to stay in, as you had no other place to go in London, your phone was spammed with messages. None from JJ, but 27 from Josh, 43 from Simon, and 12 from Vik. You answered only one, from Josh.

"Thank you. I'm okay. Just let the guys know that. x" And then you went to bed, deciding that it wasn't worth staying up, reading the countless messages about how much they were worried about you.

You were only worried about how JJ was doing. It was the only thing on your mind, and it wasn't fair, you were mad at him.

The next morning, you had plenty of missed calls and texts from the boys, but you ignored them.
You had thought Jide would most likely want to take a break, so you booked a flight to your hometown. (I don't know where you're from, but if you're from the UK, pretend you live somewhere else, okay?)

You finally picked up Josh's call.

"Dakota, you have to come back. Please, he's a fucking mess."

"Josh, please s-"

"No, listen. He hasn't uploaded, he barely eats, all he does is drink vodka and whiskey, and wrecks the house. He's already made so many holes in the walls and threw Simon's camera across his room. Please." He rambled, stressed out.

You didn't want that. You didn't want him to suffer.

You had to go back to the house. Could you stay with somebody who had scared you that much, no matter how heated the arguments get, and no matter how angry you both were at each other? It was unhealthy, and you didn't stand it.

But, for him, could you?

You just got in your car, shaking your head as you composed yourself. You drove the half hour to the house where the love of your life was, as well as your six best friends.

As soon as you got there, you went up to the door, quickly opening it with the key you were given.

You immediately heard yelling. "You're stealing her, Josh! She's still my girlfriend, damnit!" You heard Jide sob out drunkenly from his room, which you slowly entered, you facing his back as JJ raised his hand to strike Josh.

"I'm here, and if you lay a hand on him, I'm leaving." You snapped, knowing that was the only way you'd be able to get his attention.

"Baby," his eyes were fixated on you, which gave Josh the time to exit the room, not before mumbling a "thank you," to you, closing the door behind him.

"JJ." You mumbled, eyes turning soft. He was truly a mess, eyes bloodshot from crying or drinking, you weren't sure which one. You were just sure that you were here to take care of him, your love. Like you promised to always do.

"Let's go lay down, my love." You breathed to him, guiding him to his bed, stepping over a bit of sharp objects, as well as piles of clothes. You'd sort that out later.

"I missed you," he started.

"I know, I know." You said, smiling softly, pulling the covers over you both, his eyes closing as you stroked his hair soothingly.

"I got you, JJ. You're okay." You breathed against his shoulder, your own eyes closing.

"I love you." He mumbled, that was the last thing you heard before you went to sleep.

"I love you too." You mumbled, that was the last thing he heard before he went to sleep.
