I ran up to the console room to see the Doctor waiting with eager eyes. I held the watch by its chain and showed it to him. The Doctor's eyes went wide, and his mouth nearly dropped to the floor.

"Where…did you get that?!" The Doctor said in awe. Why was he so exasperated? It was just a plain old watch that I...had ever since I was...I didn't know. I had it all my life, but I knew I had been here more than 19 years!

"I've had it my whole life! As far back as I can remember!" I stated. The Doctor quickly yanked it out of my hand and began to inspect it. He turned it over and over in his hand and stopped when he was looking at the carvings on the front.

"Danielle…you need to open this. It's for your own good." The Doctor told me, his face completely sincere. I looked at the watch.

"I can't open it. My grandfather…" Why couldn't I remember what he told me? Or, why didn't I remember him, as a matter of fact?

"Danielle, this is all perfectly normal. But, you aren't humor. Didn't you find it odd to see how quickly you figured out how to use your sonic screwdriver?" The Doctor questioned.

In fact, I did. I had already added about 150 settings to it in my free time, a skill that took supposedly a while year to learn. I had mastered it in a matter of days.

The Doctor opened my hand and placed the platinum circle in my hand. He looked deeply into my eyes.

"Danielle, please. Try to open it," The Doctor trailed off. I looked down at my palm, and nodded. I ran my thumb over the cool knob that would control it. And pressid it down.

A large yellow light poured from the watch and streamed into my eyes. In my head, memories were re-awakening. I saw friends come and go quickly, I saw time and space, I saw a TARDIS, and I saw a TARDIS sinking into lava. I soon remembered myself in a basement crying, and turning myself into a human. The Doctor looked at mewith bright eyes, smiling like a seven year old child. But he didn't know my past. He didn't know that my TARDIS burnt up in the Medusa Cascade, and transported me to Earth. A tear slipped from my eye, and I looked down to hide itfrom the Doctor, but it was too late, and he was already putting his hand under my chin and lifted up.

"Danielle, what's wrong?" he asked. I looked up fiercely.

"First things first, my name isn't Danielle. It's The Wanderer. And my TARDIS... It burned up in the- the-" I couldn't finish my sentence, as the tears began streaming down like a fire hose. The Doctor gripped my head in his arms, not caring about the tear stains to come.

"The Medusa Cascade!" I wailed. The Doctor froze.

"Wanderer- can I csll you Danielle? I promise to only use your name in emergencies! I just can't make the transition." I nodded.

"If it burned up in the Medusa Cascade, then that means we can get it back! It's a frozen point in time; it will repeat over and over again for all of eternity! So guide this TARDIS! She likes you." I guided my hand over the console and grabbed a lever which was red. I pulled with all my might, and we were soon off to the Cascade of Medusa, the killer of my TARDIS. I expertly held onto the TARDIS like I used to, before I turned human. The Doctor ran over to his scanner after the rocking and shaking stopped and grinned at what he saw.

"Doctor, what is it?" I asked. The Doctor slid the scanner towards me with a big cheeky grin stretched across his face. I smiled back, then proceeded to look at the screen. A blue blip was traveling from where we were outward, and it detected something. There was a signal of extraterrestrial advances, meaning my TARDIS! It was ok!

"Oh my goodness, thank you Doctor! You have no idea how this makes me feel." I said, highly overjoyed. My home was found, and it was so close. All I needed to do was move it a tiny bit. Then, I could be able to reach out of the Doctor's TARDIS and grab it! A TARDIS was very light, so today I was in luck.

"Doctor, fly her down a little!" I exclaimed while holding my hand out of the TARDIS. I didn't even bother seeing the outside to see its beauty- and a beauty it was. The dull light that was radiating from the center was a soft blue green, and it caught my attention right away. I tore my stare away from the light and refocused on grabbing my TARDIS.

"I think I can almost reach it!" I said excitedly. I felt a smooth surface brush against my hand, and I grabbed as quickly and tightly as possible.

"Doctor! Land her somewhere! NOW!" I ordered. The Doctor hurried about, and pressed a button, sending us flying. I tried to hold myself inside the TARDIS, knowing prolonged exposure could kill a Time Lord. Soon enough, the TARDIS landed in an alley way on a planet I could only assume was Earth. I stepped out of the Doctor's TARDIS which had landed conveniently right next to my TARDIS. It seems that the length of time it was in the Medusa Cascade took its toll on my machine, because I could see the disgusting grime building up on the outside. I saw that my TARDIS was disguised as cardboard box, but I decided that I would eventually 'accidentally' break my chameleon circuit; I highly enjoyed the police box vibe.

The Doctor walked up behind me and looked at the box, and I opened it up to step inside the home I had missed for 19 years of my 600 year life. The ceiling was extremely high and covered with glass to show the stars outside. The console was metal, but it didn't make my TARDIS look cold and menacing. There was a shag carpet floor, because I remembered that I rarely wore shoes in here. There was a door going into the endless tangle of hallways closed off with a wood door- yes, I had a wood setting on my screwdriver. I had to learn from the Doctor's mistakes! I stepped forward and took a deep breath, inhaling the minty smell of my TARDIS. My TARDIS. Mine. The Doctor and I had saved my home together, and I owed everything to him.

"Danielle, it is beautiful in here." The Doctor said. He walked up behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"It's a whole other world in here." I responded. Suddenly, I grinned mischievously and grabbed the Doctor's hand, and began tugging him to my hallway. We ran to the first room on the left and pushed the door open. Before I dragged him in, I covered the Doctor's eyes.

"Why can't I see it? What is it?" He asked frantically.

"Voila!!" I released my hand from the Doctor's eyes to reveal an entire kitchen- refrigerator fully stocked.

"Are there fish fingers?" I nodded.

"And CUSTARD?" I nodded again. The Doctor jumped up and down, clapping.

"I want to travel with you for a while, you know, be the companion!" The Doctor said, provoking an unstoppable laughing fit from me.

When I calmed down, I said, "Doctor, in order to be a companion to me, you've got to be younger than me!" The Doctor widened his eyes.

"How old ARE you?"he asked me. I smiled.

"Well that's a bit of a personal question, now isn't it. I'm 642 years old." I responded. The Doctor nodded in acceptance.

"I don't need a companion. I need a friend. So Doctor…we'll keep in touch?" I said, walking out of the kitchen. The Doctor grabbed my hand.

"What? Why don't you want to travel…you know…together? I mean, the last time lord, last time lady, we should probably stick together." The Doctor said nervously. I grinned a happy grin, knowing he wanted me.

"I guess that's a good thought…" I said, emphasizing the guess. The Doctor responded by running to my console.

"Doctor, what are you doing?!" I yelled at him. He typed something in on my typewriter, and caused my TARDIS to rock and shake.

"Doctor, what did you DO?!" I yelled angrily, not liking what was going on at all.

"Why does everyone assume that it's my fault!" He screamed back. Then a loud pound came at the door. I swung my head towards the sound. Someone was knocking at the door.
