Chapter 4

"Guess what me and James just saw!"said Albus as he walked into the common room,flopping on the couch beside Emma
"What?"replied Scorpius
"Lily kissing that Lysander kid"he said,looking disgusted
"Aww"she gushed, smiling "that's cute"
"No it's not,I don't wanna see my little sis snogging the face off a boy!"Albus
shivered as he spoke
"Come on,he's a good kid and he wouldn't do anything to lily,anyway you have one more thing to embarrass her about"she smiled and he shrugged,rolling his eyes at her...
Later,at about 7 o'clock,Scorpius,Albus and Emma were in their common room talking
"So you've never tried a chocolate orange?"said Emma and Scorpius shook his head"do you wanna try one? I've got one in my room"and he nodded
She came back to find the boys talking
"What you talking bout?"she said,sitting back down
"Nothing.."said Albus who's cheeks were red
Emma chucked a bit of the chocolate orange to Albus and Scorpius,who tried it immediately
Scorpius spat it out"that's horrible!"he said to Emma and Albus who had shocked faces
"What do you mean?"said Albus"they're brilliant!"
"Well now I know what to get you for Christmas"she laughed and leaned back putting her hands beside her

"I still can't believe you don't like them"said Albus,leaning on his left hand,which he put on top of Emma's
She blushed a slight shade of red and tried to think of something,Suddenly she lifted her hand and combed it through her hair"don't we have a potions essay for tomorrow?"she asked and the boys nodded"damn it!"and she ran out the room to try and get it done..
She walked out of her dorm,she guessed it was around one o'clock in the morning,she couldn't get to sleep because she just kept thinking about the moment when their hands touched,the way she got butterflies in her stomach,the way her hands tingled.

She heard a noise and spinned round,it was Scorpius,he sat down opposite her
"Couldn't sleep too huh?"he said and she nodded"I saw the way you blushed when he touched you,ya know"and she blushed
"Why are you up then?"she questioned and it was his turn to blush"let me guess,girl troubles?" He nodded
"I like her but she's too good for me and her dad hates me!"he started to rant but Emma interrupted him
"Would you say your aftershave smells.....musky?"and he smiled"also a certain Gryffindor I know uses lily shampoo"

They talked for a while but somehow ended up playing wizard chess,which Scorpius was much better at
They were just starting another game when Albus came down,rubbing his eyes"what are you guys doing up?"he said,slightly laughing
"Sit down potter,you are about to witness history,I'm finally going to beat him at chess!"she announced and he slouched down,hugging his knees to his chest
Emma smiled,it didn't matter about fancying people or smells or anything else because these sleepy,silly boys were her best friends and she had forever to beat Scorpius Malfoy at chess...
