Meera, Bran, and I ride to Castle Black. I couldn't stop thinking about my father dying. We approached the gates of Castle Black and the opened. My eyes move to the hundreds of wildlings in Castle Black. My eyes move to Jon.
Jon looks at me. I began to feel weak. I was cold. I don't think I have ever been this cold in my life.
"Woah," Jon stops my horse and helps me down, "Lyanna, you look horrid. Let's get you to a fire."
"B-Bran." My teeth chatter.
"What?" He asks.
"Get Bran." I say clearly.
He turns his head toward the other horse. His expression changes.
"Your grace, are you alright?" Brieanne comes to my side. She takes me from Jon and helps me into Jon's chambers.
I hold onto the table in the middle of the room while Brieanne moves a chair beside the fire. She helps me walk to it and I sit down.
"I did what you asked, your grace." She tells me.
"Thank you, Brieanne. I appreciate it very much." I give her a smile.
I move my hand closer to the fire until my entire hand is emerged into it. Brieanne moves suddenly.
"Your grace, no!" She shouts and pulls my hand out of it.
She examines it, seeing that it is unburnt. She looks up at me. "How?"
"I'm a Targaryen." I tell her weakly.
-
I ate at a table alone. I wanted to be alone mostly. Jon walks into the room and sits in front of me.
"Are you alright?" He asks me.
I nod and drink my wine.
"Lyanna, you've barely said a word to me, or anyone." He says.
I don't respond. Jon reaches forward and touches my necklace. It was one of the rubies that I got from my vision.
"It's beautiful," Jon compliments, "where'd you get it?"
"If I told you, you wouldn't believe me."
He laughs. "We live in a world with White Walkers. Of course I'll believe you."
I look him dead in the eyes. "Bran and I are more alike than what I thought. I went back to when Rhaegar Targaryen died. I was there and I saw it. These are the rubies from his armor." I take out the second one I had and put it in his hand.
Jon looks down at it. "What would I want with this? Who is Rhaegar Targaryen to me?"
"Bran and I also went back to when Lyanna Stark died. Do you know how she died?" I ask.
"No, father never talked about it." He says.
"She died giving birth to twins, Jon," I say, "a girl and a boy. The girl's name was Lyanna."
He looks at me. He didn't know what to make of the information I had just told him.
"You're my brother, Jon. Not just a half brother, my full blooded brother," I look at the ruby he was holding, "Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen are our parents."
I take another drink of my wine. He looks down.
"Are you sure?" He asks.
"Yes. If you don't believe me ask Bran." I say.
"I believe you." He says and I am unsure if I believe him or not.
I stand up from the table. "But if I were you, I would wait to tell anyone."
"Why?"
"You're a Targaryen. It explains itself." I tell him.
I begin to walk out of the room until Jon begins to speak again. When he does, I turn around to face him.
"Are we the only ones?"
I shake my head. "No. Our aunt is in Meereen. From what I hear she has quite the army."
"Does Tommen know?"
"Yes, he does," I tell him, "believe it or not, he's quite the Targaryen loyalist."
"Only because of you." He scoffs.
"Tommen is hardly anything like his mother. He is kinder, and just-" I stop.
Jon raises a brow. "Not a cunt?"
I chuckle. "Yes, not a cunt."
Jon laughs along with me. I smile after laughing. This changed everything. Jon and I finally learned who our parents were. We were already close, but this brought us closer.
"Get some sleep," he stands and walks over to me, planting a kiss on my forehead, "we have some things to discuss tomorrow."
He exits the room and I look down at Ash. He tilts his head at me.
"Athchilar zohhe, Ash." I say and he lays.
Since we have been at Castle Black, I have been teaching myself the Dothraki language and teaching Ash phrases in the language. He catches on fast.
I lay down on the bed and look at the ceiling. My hands were on my belly, where Dannys once was. I missed him terribly. I missed Tommen terribly.
But I could not go home. Not now. A war was coming.
