A few weeks later

Tommen and I decided to wait and arrange for the marriage. Tomorrow was the day I would marry the love of my life.

My handmaiden, Reila, brushed through my hair carefully.

"I heard about your brother," she says, "I want to say I am terribly sorry. The Freys are traitors."

"Thank you, Reila. I appreciate it." I say.

"Are you the only one left?"

I shake my head. "I have three brothers still alive. My little sister, Arya, disappeared after my father's death, but I know she's still alive. Sansa disappeared after Joffrey's death."

Reila was about to say something but a knock on the door stopped her. She sits the brush on my vanity and walks to the door, opening it.

Tommen stood there with a smile plastered to his face.

"Your Grace," she curtsies, "come in. I was just brushing Lady Lyanna's hair."

He smiles and nods his head as he takes a step into the room. I stand up and smooth out my dress.

"My Queen," he takes my hand in his and plants a kiss on it, "you look lovely."

"Not a queen yet." I remind him with a smile.

He sighs. "Yes, I know. It cannot come soon enough."

I smile and we share a brief stare. He clears his throat and lets my hand go.

"Well, I have brought you something." He says and walks toward the door.

I think to myself all of the things that he possibly could have waiting for me. Ash lifts up his head, as Tommen is now coming toward him. Ash lets out a faint growl and I lift my hand to calm him. He lays his head back onto his paws.

"What is it?" I ask curiously.

"I guess you'll have to follow me and find out." He teases and I groan.

My curiosity always got the best of me and I followed him. He led me outside. It was a bit chilly, as it always was at night.

"I want you to close your eyes." He says.

I do, mostly because I trusted Tommen. What harm could he do?

"I will tell you when to open them." He adds.

I keep my eyes closed. I was almost tempted to peek.

"Okay," he says enthusiastically, "open them."

I open my eyes. My stomach turned with excitement. Jon. My brother was standing in front of me. I smile big and run to hug him.

"Jon! Oh, how I've missed you!" I exclaim as I hug him tight.

He laughs. His laugh was just as I remember. "I've missed you too, sister."

I let him go when I think I've hugged him long enough. I look back at Tommen and hug him.

"This is the best surprise ever. Thank you, Tommen." I say and let him go.

He smiles. "I knew you would. Reila said that you've been speaking of Jon since it was said we were to marry. I thought I would get him here until tomorrow."

I look back at Jon. "I'm very surprised they let you come."

"They cannot deny the king." Jon says.

I smile and hug him again. I just cannot help it. It's been a couple years since I've seen him.

"Did you bring Ghost?" I ask.

Jon nods. "I did. Is Ash still alive?"

"Yes, he's in my bedchambers." I tell him.

"Tomorrow is a big day, Lyanna. You should get some rest. I will visit you first thing in the morning." He says and we hug one last time.

"Goodnight, Jon." I say and he looks at me.

"Goodnight." Jon looks away and walks off.

I turn to Tommen. I'm so grateful that he brought my brother back to me.

"Thank you so much Tommen. I love that you did that for me." I smile.

"You deserve to be happy, Lyanna. After everything you've been through, you truly deserve it."

I smile. "I should go. I will see you tomorrow."

"Goodnight, my queen." He bows his head.

"Goodnight, my king." I do the same in return.

I turn away from him and walk back to my room.

"Have I ever told you what beautiful hair you've got?" Reila asks.

"Yes, lots of times." I let out a chuckle.

She smiles. "Well, you do. Tommen is very lucky to be marrying you."

"I think I am the lucky one." I say truthfully.

A knock on the door catches my attention. I look as Reila leaves me and goes to get the door. Reila opens it and reveals Jon.

I smile and stand up, walking over to him.

"I'm glad you could stop by." I greet him with a hug.

"Are you nervous?" Jon asks as I let him go.

I nod. "A little. I just wish Mother, Father, Robb, Arya, Sansa, Bran, and Rickon could be here."

He frowns. "Me too."

I stood and thought of how Mother wanted Jon gone all these years. I always held a bit of a grudge against her for it. Jon was a good man. It isn't his fault Father had him with another woman.

I shouldn't think like that. I just needed to get a clear mind.

"Oh, Jon. I would like you to meet my handmaiden, Reila," I say and Jon looks at her, "though I consider her more of a sister than a handmaiden."

Reila walks over to Jon and I and bows her head. "It's very nice to meet you, my lord."

"And you too, Lady Reila." Jon smiles.

Jon looks at me with loving eyes. "You look absolutely beautiful, Lyanna. You look so much like our aunt."

I chuckle. "Even in King's Landing I still get told I look like her."

"You do. You two could be twins." Jon says.

Reila looks at me. "Just one more thing."

She walks behind me and adjusts my dress. She then comes back around to my front to look at me.

"Beautiful." She smiles.

"Now," Jon says with a smile, "you've got a wedding to attend."
