The Final Battle

~Previously on The Story of the Musical Witch~

"Remember this sword? This was your father's, before I killed the old man and took his sword." Her eyes widened in shock, "Some say the sword can cut through a whole army of monsters, its light that shine can blind the enemy. Oh well, maybe I'll use it, to kill you!!" She sped towards Taylor and their swords clash, creating a large shockwave, wind rushes strongly.

"With this sword, it can double the power of the user, so you cannot beat me with just a plain sword!" She yelled, shockwaves from Val's sword pushed Taylor backwards, crashing her to the nearest tree, she groaned from the crash, then she saw Valerie on the air, holding her sword above her head, leading to finally finishing her.

But it never came to Taylor.

Instead, Christina gets in her way and she gets stabbed on the back through her stomach, she coughs blood from her mouth, the whole group is shocked, Ash felt the worst, he's gonna lose his beloved mate. Taylor stood still, her eyes widened in horror, seeing her best friend sacrificed herself to save her. Valerie lift up her sword, Taylor managed to see Christina's dying smile before she got thrown behind Val.

"TINA!!!!!!!!"

Do you know how it feels to see someone got killed in front of you? Taylor had felt it once. Taylor never saw how her father died when she was still 5 years old, instead she believed that he died in one of the battles, now Valerie said the truth that she killed her father, leading her to spent her life without a father figure.

Now, she witnessed Christina, her best friend, got stabbed through her stomach by Valerie, instead of her. Why would she have to witness the people she loved die? The world we live in is a cruel place, and humans kill each other without any reasons. Why can't people just stop killing each other?

Valerie throws Christina to the air behind her, then Ash captured her limp body and settled her down to the ground, everybody is shocked in horror, Taylor felt the worst as Ashton did, she ran towards Christina's limp body, she held her stomach in pain, her breath is shaky, she's losing her consciousness, blood still lingered on her mouth.

"Christina.... Why?" She asked her, Christina smiled, despite almost close to her death.

"Because.... I can't let my best friend die in front of me, and my body just moved by itself, I didn't even think." She said, then cough out blood, then her gaze moved to Ashton's red piercing eyes, her current situation made him cry a lot, regretting that he couldn't protect her. She put her hand on his cheek, and smile widely despite her time is almost over.

"Don't give me that look, Ash. It makes me even more sad. You know I love you very much, love." She said with a dying smile, Ash cried upon her words, he loved her too, more than anyone in the whole world. She looked up to the sky, a single tear slid down her cheek.

"The biggest regret I had is, not seeing my family once again. I don't have the courage to see them again. I...." she gritted her teeth in sadness and pain, "Just wanted to see them for the last time." She sniffles, Taylor let all her tears slid down her cheek.

"You will see them again, Christina, just stay with us, please!" She yelled in pain, and Christina just smiled in return.

"I can't, Taylor, I just can't. My time is almost over, and my pain will be over once I die, at least, I'll die with a smile on my face, for the last time." She smiled widely, eyes closed, an another tear slid down her cheek.
