I was running. Faster, faster and faster. I didn't know where I was going. I didn't care about where I stepped. I just kept running.
I was in fear. My heart was beating on the same beat as my steps. I...

It was a house. A victorian-esque house, standing in a clearing. It looked sort of creepy to me. Abandoned, although the garden was colorful and maintained. A path sprang a little further and I decided to follow it to the front door. As I walked the path, I looked around. Everything seemed so peaceful, so happy. There was a little round table standing inside a circle of flowers. A teacup and a teapot were placed on it. I felt like a doll, and the house was the dollhouse.
I doubted. Should I see if anyone's home? Well, I am kind of lost, and I'm really hungry, and I have no idea what happened to me nor where I am. I walked over the path. Once I ascended the porch, I looked through the window to see if anyone was living here. The sun reflected on the glass, so it was hard to see. Carefully my cold knuckles tapped on the wooden door. I waited for a while, but to my expectations nobody opened the door. I walked around the house, looking through the side windows, but all I could see was myself. God I looked like a freaking caveman. I figured the house was abandoned, but maybe there was a telephone inside or something to eat. I could at least try... I went back to the front door and carefully bended the doorknob. I pushed against it and the door surprisingly opened with a loud screeching sound. When I peeked inside I saw the house was actually pretty neat. It looked exactly like how a victorian house should look like. Everything was antique and wooden and expensive-looking. I decided to take a step inside. A smell of old people lingered here. Maybe this was an old people's house and the owners just died or something. I looked around me. I was standing in the hallway. A wide staircase was right in front of me. It was veiled with a red carpet. Large paintings were put on the walls. Must have been some rich lads those old people.
"Hello?" I yelled. Maybe there was still living someone. "Is anybody home?" No answer. I decided to search through the house for anything useful. The first room I entered was the living room. Same vibe as the hallway. It was so big, so old. No television or anything, just a large dining table, a set of couches and a giant fireplace. Everything seemed to be in perfect state compared to the exterior of this mansion. The kitchen was linked to the living room with an open wall. Just a stove and shelves with old pots and casseroles were to be seen in the kitchen. I looked around me again to be sure nobody was watching me and opened up the cupboards next to the stove. Damn, where do old people keep their food? Do they even eat, I mused. "Are you finding what you are looking for?" Said a voice behind me.
