The Introduction

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yes, I'm sure about this, I brought a dozen of courage in here!"

I grabbed my bag and held the small box on my right hand. I waved at Eunice a goodbye and hurriedly went down to exit the bleachers.

Palubog na ang araw at katatapos lang ng soccer game. Sobrang dami ng tao dito sa bleachers at halos nag bubungguan lahat ng tao na tila bang walang pakialam sa isa't isa.

"Excuse me.."

Lalong tumitindi yung kaba ko bawat hakbang ko. I am wearing loose shirt, maong shorts and simple white rubber shoes. Sobrang simple ng suot ko pero hindi mapigilan yung pag-agos ng pawis ko. Mahangin naman dahil palubog na ang araw pero ako pawis na pawis!

Tuwing kinakabahan kasi ako, automatic nang lumalabas yung pawis ko, nagmumukha akong tumakbo sa oval sa sobrang pawis. Kaya rin siguro mahilig akong pag tripan ng mga ka-blockmates ko dahil sa OA na pag labas ng pawis ko..

"Excuse me po.. Excuse.."

Hinawakan ko nang maigi yung maliit na box na pinaglalagyan ng cupcake na birthday gift ko kay Gust, unting unti kasing dumudulas yung kamay ko dahil sa pagka-pasmado ko. Not now. Ayaw kong masayang yung effort ko.

Nakarating na ako sa field, hinanap ko sa dagat ng tao si Gust, nakita ko siya kasama yung team mates niya. Kitang kita yung ngiting tagumpay sa mga mukha nila. Natalo na nila kasi ang Austria University for the first time.

"Gust!" I shouted, he turned and look at me. Those blue eyes feels like home, cheeks flushed in red! Pointed nose and smile that could stop time, sent me millions of chills!

Drops of sweat begin to flow on my face! Tila bang nag uunahan pa silang tumulo! Nakakahiya but there's no turning back!

I waved at him and signaled him to wait for me.

"Look who's here..."

napalingon ako sa nagsalita and I saw the sophomore bitches.

Hindi ko sila pinansin at dumiretso na sa kinaroroonan ni Gust.

Ramdam na ramdam ko ng basang basa na yung kamay ko nang biglang may bumangga sakin.

"F*ck!"

Sa sobrang taranta ko nahagis ko yung maliit na box! Agad agad ko 'tong sinalo at tinignan yung bumangga sakin pero pag lingon ko wala na yung tao.. I sighed.

Chineck ko yung cupcake sa loob at mukhang maayos pa naman. Kaya ko 'to! Ibibigay ko lang at tapos na ang lahat! Aaminin kong gusto ko siya tapos wala na!

"Excuse me po.."

Lumingon ako kay Gust na hindi malayo sakin at ngumiti sakanya.

Nagsimula na ulit akong lumakad palapit sakanya.

"Hello Gust! I made this for you-----"

hindi ko pa naabot sakanya yung box when someone tripped me.

"F*ck what again?!"

"Oooops! My mistake!"

The Sophomore Bitches for pete's sake!

For sure the cupcake is already ruined!

I stood and I saw my cupcake scattered on the ground! Pinaghirapan ko yon gawin kagabi, baking isn't really my thing but I heard Gust loves cupcakes so I made one!

Namumula na ako sa sobrang inis. Sumosobra na sila sakin! I didn't do anything wrong to them! Why are they even doing this to me?!

"Are you all right Alice?" Gust asked me. All the irritations suddenly disappeared when his worried eyes met mine.

"Yes, I'm -----"

"Hahaha! Serves you right!"

Did Gust just really pushed me? Laughed at me? All I can hear is loud chuckles everywhere.

Pinalibutan nila ako at pinagtawanan.

I'm not usually weak even though people bully me, not until today when the light of my life did it to me.

Nag uunahan tumulo yung luha ko, I don't even have energy to wipe my tears! This is just too much! I didn't expect this from him!

Pinagdasal ko na lang na sana lamunin na ako ng lupa o kaya bigla nalang akong mag teleport para makaalis lang dito! I was so wrong to expect him to be kind!

Minulat ko yung mata ko at napalingon sa paligid ng napagtanto nandito pa rin ako sa field. Sayang akala ko nag teleport na ako..

"Gust are you all right?!"

Napagawi yung mata ko kung saan siya nakatingin and I saw Gust lying on the ground and his nose is bleeding!

There's a guy in front of him and his eyes were furious! Did he just punched Gust?!

"Serves you right." he said.
