I wake up in the morning
Told to be in a hurry
And all that I hear
Is that time is fleeting

Why such a hurry?
My mind screams in query
Who will tell me
Just what is time?

I am tagged late
Judged at a rate
One set by a thing
That I cannot see

Time is money
So I have been told
But I buy my houses
Not with time but with gold

So what is time?
I ask again
Please have some mercy
And spare me misery.
