Chapter 11: Love Gives A Purpose

(Nathan and Lara are still running from the police and their dogs.)

Nathan: "Come on, Lara! Try to keep up!"

Lara: "I'm trying the best I can!" (He grabs her hand and pulls her forward.)

Nathan: "We're almost there! Look, there's a door to the hotel!" (He points to what the hotel is called the Dali Love.)

Lara: "Good idea, Nate!" (They kept running until they reached the door. They busted in.)

Lara: "We're in!"

Nathan: "Quick, find something to bar the door shut!" (Lara and Nathan looked around and Lara found a large rectangle dresser.)

Lara: "Will this work?"

Nathan: "Great! Now, push this thing against the door!" (They both pushed for their lives and it reached the door. They heard a bang on the door and barking. They backed up to see if they stopped. Nothing, but silence afterwards. They both were relieved.)

Lara: "They're gone."

Nathan: "Good. Finally." (Lara and Nathan were catching their breath until Lara looks up and saw a gallery.)

Lara: "Amazing. This must be the art collection of Dali."

Nathan: "Dali?"

Lara: "Yes, Dali. He's a famous painter."

Nathan: "Oh. Come on, we got to see if there is a room."

Lara: "Okay." (They carefully went up the stairs.)

Nathan: "I need a weapon." (Lara gave him a pistol.)

Nathan: "Thanks." (Lara nods. Nathan and Lara reached the door. Nathan looks confident.)

Nathan: "This is it. Let's check if anyone is in here."

Lara: "Be careful, Nate."

Nathan: "Aren't I always?"

Lara: "You said that at our previous adventure."

Nathan: "Exactly. Never forget that." (He grabs the doorknob and opened it slowly then pushed it all the way like a pro and aimed his gun. Nothing, but darkness. He turned on the light. Empty, but a bed, a mirror, two lamps and a bathroom.)

Nathan: "Whew."

Lara: "Well, it's empty. That means we're set." (Lara walks in and puts her stuff on the ground next to the bed. Nathan does the same and he shuts the door and locks it.)

Nathan: "Shall the lady go first to take a shower or shall I?"

Lara: "I'll go."

Nathan: "Alright." (She goes into the bathroom and closes the door. Nathan took out the flower and puts it under the pillow so Lara doesn't know.) (Meanwhile, Sully and Elena got into a hotel called Mona Lisa. They blocked the door as well.)

Sully: "I hope the kids make it."

Elena: "Who, Lara? No, I didn't want her to be with Nathan and Nathan severely hurt me. So, no. I hope they didn't survive."

Sully: "How can you say that? Ever since you went to Lara, she did nothing to you, but treated you with respect. Now, you're not playing fairly. She treated you nicely and you treat her like she doesn't matter in the world."

Elena: "She doesn't!"

Sully: "You're wrong. She does matter to me, Nathan and you. You just have to show her you care."

Elena: "Like that's going to happen."

Sully: "Then you don't respect everyone then. Including me. We're sleeping in separate beds." (He walks around looking for a room. He communicates with Nathan.)
