"Bye." I said with tears rolling down my cheeks.
"We'll be back soon! I'll ring you every night." Louis told me.
"Promise?" I snivelled.
"Promise. Now cheer up." The time had come for the group to go on tour so Lilly and I had come to the airport to wave them off. It was much harder than I'd thought, though, to say goodbye. In the past weeks, Louis and I had had the most amazing time together. We'd been meeting up almost every day and it had been the best weeks of my life. College had slightly been interferring but the times I'd had with him had been great. I hadn't gone a few minutes without laughing but that was about to change. I tried to smile but I couldn't. Louis took my hand and led me over to the others. There weren't as many fans as usual, but there were still loads. They were screaming and shouting Louis, Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn's names.
"Ready to go?" Liam asked Louis.
"Almost. I think Zara needs to say her goodbyes." Shyly, I stepped forward and, one by one, gave each band member a hug. I told each of them good luck and that they'd do great. They all thanked me and Lilly said her goodbyes too. She was crying as well. She hugged Harry one last time, looking like she never wanted to let go. He smiled down at her with his green eyes and squeezed her for the last time in a long time. They said it wasn't long, but to Lilly and I it sounded like forever.
I wiped my eyes with the back of my sleeved and tried to smile.
"See you in a couple months!" Said Zayn. That set us off again and the streams of water ran down our cheeks once more. I probably looked a state.
They pulled up the handles of their suitcases and began to wheel them away, waving to us as they went. Harry ran to join them from Lilly and the group was nearly complete.
"Stop crying, babe." It was Louis. I hugged him tight and he kissed my forehead. As we pulled apart, he delicately wiped a tear from my eye and told me he loved me and that he'd ring me as soon as he arrived. That was not the right way of going about stopping me crying- having Louis Tomlinson telling me he loved me.
"Louis!" Liam shouted. "We need to go! The gate to the plane closes in five minutes!" I could see their manager waiting at the other side of the airport, beckoning for them to hurry up and come.
"Bye, babe. Love you." Louis whispered in my ear before disappearing off to join his band mates. He didn't actually disappear, but I wouldn't have been able to tell as my eyes eyes were closed tight, trying to stop the water that seemed to be flowing out of my eyes.
"Love you." I said in a scarce whisper but he was no longer by my side.
"We can do this, Zara." It was Lilly. She had managed to somehow stop crying but her eyes were red and her cheeks were tear stained. I took a deep breath and waved at Louis as he and his band mates ran off to catch their plane.
He looked back, right into my eyes and he shouted, "Love you!".
God, he was perfect, I thought as I shouted back at him. I was very slightly drowned out by the fans. But soon they turned the corner and left my sights. I knew this would be hard but surely I'd manage it...?

Lilly and I sat staring at our phones, willing for them to ring with Louis'/ Harry's name appearing on the screen. Nothing happened. Nothing had happened for the last 3 hours. I sighed. Surely they were there by now? They were going to Ireland first so it shouldn't have taken them too long.
"I think I should go." I told Lilly. She nodded and I left the room silently before heading downstairs and out the door. Yeah, right, I thought. 'Manange it'. How the hell would I manage this when I'd started off the 'Managing Plan' by staring at my phone? I pondered over ways I could take Louis off my mind but that seemed to be the worst thing in the world. I pulled my phone out my pocket, deciding to look at the photo's of mine and Louis' first weeks together. In each and every one, Louis (as usual) looked perfect. His amazing smile would always reach his beautiful blue eyes. I glanced over at me. I looked horrible. I quickly covered myself with my finger and then looked at Louis. How did I deserve a guy like him? I could not wait for him to come back. I still had 1 month, four weeks, 2 days and 7 hours until he came back, though. In other words, forever...
By now, I'd reached my house. I unzipped my bag and pulled out my keys. Twisting the lock, I opened the door and stepped inside, warmth greeting me. I shivered as my body adjusted to the temperature change before hanging up my coat.
"Is that you, Jenny?" I heard my mum call out. Then she appeared in the hallway.
"Oh, it's not Jenny." She said, then she saw the look on my face.
"What's happened?"
"Oh, um, they left today.." I was trying really hard to not burst into tears. She hugged me, rubbing my back sympathetically.
"Oh, and by the way," She said as she stepped back. "We're all going out for dinner tonight- as a family."
"Even dad?" I asked
"Yep, even dad. As soon as he's back from work we're leaving."
"Okay." I sighed. I wasn't really in the mood for a family dinner. I could ask if I could stay at home, and order a take away but I knew my mum had been wanting us to go out as a family for ages. They were paying anyway, so I didn't want to sound ungrateful.
"Dad and Jenny will be back in about 10 minutes so make sure you're ready." My mum told me.
"Yeah, umm sure." I said, forcing a smile. Then I ran upstairs to re-do my hair quickly.
"AAHH!" I screamed as I saw myself in the mirror. My mascara had ran down my face, my lipstick was smudged and my hair was a complete mess. And I'd been in front of Louis like this! Quickly, I began to fix myself up, deciding to use make- up removal wipes and start again. Soon, I heard my mum calling to tell me that my dad was home and so was Jenny. I still had dark circles under my eyes from the mascara that didn't want to come off, but my hair was ok now and I'd re-done my lipstick. I raced downstairs, nearly tripping on a neat pile of ironed clothes. As I reached the bottom I started feeling hot and sweaty. My legs felt weak and wobbly and my heart beat started to get faster and faster. I hated this feeling. I would always get it when I felt sick. Suddenly, I started to feel really sick. I raced back up to the toilet...and then I was sick.
"Are you ok? Zara?" I heard my mum call. Then my sister was by my side as I sat on the cold bathroom floor.
"Hey, are you ok?" I was so lucky to have a sister like Jenny. Even when I'm being sick, she's helping me.
"Here," She passed me a wet flannel and I put it against my forehead, trying to cool down.
"Have you even eaten today?" She asked.
I thought for a moment, then realising I hadn't, I shook my head.
"No wonder you're sick, then!" She exclaimed. Then my mum came up, followed by my dad.
"I've made you a drink of water." She said, passing a clear glass.
"Thanks." My voice was nothing more than a weak whisper.
"Well, that's dinner gone out the window." My dad sighed.
"Oh, it doesn't matter!" Said my mum. "We can go another day."
"No, don't." I said quietly. "You all can go out. I don't want to be the one who ruined your evening."
"Don't be ridiculous, Zara!" My mum exclaimed.
"Ok, I think we should leave Zara now." Said Jenny. I smiled at her thankfully.
"Ok. But call us if you need us. We'll be downstairs." They made their way downstairs and I slowly got up, not wanting to puke again. I crept into my room and snuggled under my bed covers. After a few minutes, a voice made me jump.
"Just in case you're sick again." It was Jenny. She handed me a huge bright orange bucket and I put it at the end of my bed.
"Remember, call if you need us or if there are any problems." Then she was gone. The day had caught up and now I felt exhausted. I wrapped my covers round me tighter, as I was absolutely freezing. I closed my eyes, trying to get to sleep. It didn't happen. I was too hot, even though I'd been cold a moment ago. I kicked the covers off, but that made me cold. Sighing, I pulled the covers up to my waist and shut my eyes tight. Eventually, I'd fall asleep....
