I checked my reflection in the full length mirror, turning around and adjusting my new dress. When we'd gone shopping, Louis had bought it for me. I'd tried to object at the time but he hadn't listened.
I'd been home for about an hour, getting ready for the party. I'd curled my hair, done my make up and put on my dress. It came about three inches up from my knee, and it was a black and strapless. I tugged at it in front of the mirror, making sure it was perfect.
Noises from downstairs stopped me. I could hear my mum and a male voice. My dad was home already? He wasn't supposed to be home for another hour! I peered out of my door and my face broke into a grin as I realised who it was.
"Louis!" He looked up.
"Hey, babe." He began making his way up to me.
"How come you're here so early?" I asked him.
"I was hoping to help you dress, but I see you already are." He winked.
I laughed. "Yeah, sorry. How long do we have?"
"Long enough for me to kiss you." He got up from my bed and walked over, putting his hands on my waist and leaning in. I put my hands on his cheeks and they soon ventured off, getting lost in his perfect hair. Then I suddenly pulled my hands away.
"Why did you stop? That was nice!" He complained.
"Umm..err..." I took a deep breath, a little embarrassed about what I was about to say. "I'm... scared I'll ruin your hair."
He burst out laughing. "Babe," He said through giggles. "I don't care what happens to my hair, as long as you do what you were doing," Louis kissed me again and we fell onto the bed, not stopping. We kept going for another five minutes until I heard my door creak open, and I froze. I slowly turned my head, afraid I'd see my mother. Thankfully, though, I saw that it was just the family cat, Mittens, pushing it open with his head. I breathed I sigh of relief and went back to kissing Louis. We were interrupted, however, when Mittens leapt onto the bed and started licking Louis' face. I laughed, pulling myself up, breathing heavily.
"We'd better leave." Louis got up and began to walk out my room. I followed after him, looking one last time in the mirror. My hair was a bit of a mess.
"Lou, wait! I need to just sort out my hair quickly." I grabbed a comb and hairspray and neatened it up, before leaving my room.

"PARTY ROCK IS IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT, EVERYBODY JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME. AND WE GONNA MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR MINDS, EVERYBODY JUST HAVE A GOOD TIME." The music blasted out of the speakers as we walked into the party. There were already loads of people, dancing and holding drinks.
"LOUIS!" Someone shouted loudly over the music. Louis took my hand and lead me over to a group of boys, laughing in the kitchen.
"This must be your gorgeous girlfriend? Harry told me you'd be bringing her along." Said a boy with dark brown hair.
"Yep, this is my gorgeous girlfriend. James, this is Zara, Zara this is James." Louis replied. James held his hand out to me and, at first, I thought he wanted me to shake it but as I lifted mine up he took it and kissed it. He must have already been a bit tipsy. I smiled nervously, stepping back, closer to Louis.
"Harry's here, I think he went to the lounge to see Ben. Do you want a drink, mate?" James asked.
"Yeah, please. I'll have a beer." Louis told him, then he spoke to me. "What do you want, babe?"
"Err, do you mind if I have a..."
"Here!" James interrupted me, thrusting me a Smirnoff Ice. I didn't want to seem ungrateful, so I accepted the drink, even though I was only going to ask for a coke.
