“You still love her too?”
“Why you suddenly ask about my feeling for Seol An?” Jaeseop still on ‘wondering why a man in front him is so sudden asking about a woman on my past when I just broke up with my girlfriend’ feeling.
“Why? You ask me why?” Eli mock Jaeseop with a smile, “c’mon, you know exactly what am I talking about” Eli let Jaeseop to start talking. Eli asks a waitress to come and order an Americano and a cheese stick while Jaeseop arrange his breath to start answer Eli’s question. Jaeseop put his back to the sofa again. Eli only stares at Jaeseop and wait for his coffee to come.
10 minutes later…
“You know that I can’t forget her…” Jaeseop start to talk.
“That’s why I ask you that question. Because the reason why Hyeo Min can’t stay with you any longer because she can feel that you still can’t forget Seol An. And you realized that right?” Eli gives a serious look to Jaeseop while he’s talking.
“Yeah…I realized that. But, you do know that Seol An also still can’t love me too” Jaeseop hold his breath for a second and continue his sentences, “I can’t even know her condition, where she’s now, what she’s doing…for almost a year!”
“So you keep wanna ask me why you broke up with Hyeo Min?” Eli mock Jaeseop again with a smile, “I guess a thing that bothers you now is not about Hyeo Min…but Seol An. A broke up moment between you and Hyeo Min only a trigger right?”
“Why you know so many things about me?” Jaeseop put a light smiles on his lips while realizing that he doesn’t need to talk too much about his feeling to make Eli knows about his story.
“That what’s a friends for”
“I should not hurt Hyeo Min by asked her to still be with me three years ago. I was thinking that everything will be OK, that I can control everything… but I kept end up with hurting her.”
Eli turns into a good listener by drinks his coffee and put his ears to listen his friend’s feeling. Eli can see that his friend is really in a deep thought about all of these for over a year.
“I met Hyeo Min and fall for her in a second, that’s why I make a move in only a month to ask her as my girl. I feel that Hyeo Min will be my last love in my life but Seol An….changed everything…” Jaeseop stops for a while, “but when she didn’t have a same feeling with me, I broke…I asked Hyeo Min to keep stand by me…and I just made her…my therapy for my denial”
Jaeseop bowed his head and sighing again.
“Dude, your heart goes to Hyeo Min in a second, but it turns to Seol An after two years of relationship with Hyeo Min. When Seol An can’t love you back, you asked Hyeo Min to stay with you…for what? Heal you from your broken heart? C’mon…you’re such a freaking bad guy!” Eli can’t stand for any longer, “I also said that sentences two years ago! But now you’re still complaining a same thing?”
Jaeseop realize that he’s still not moving on from a way that he chose when he decided to love Seol An. The facts that Seol An can’t love him back…make him stuck on that way for a very long time.
A year ago…
At night…Jaeseop kneeled at a city park covered by a rain snow in front of a woman who changed his life. Hold a diamond ring at his right hand and the other hand holding the women’s hands. In hoping that he chose a right thing, he asks her to be the women of his life, forever.
“In every hour that I spend with you, my heart always can’t stop pounding.
I always hold my breath just to make sure time would never passed too fast.
