On the way home, Iris looked out the window. She saw the dark come together with the bright city lights before her eyes and... a girl a girl with short, curly, orange hair wth a small stuffed dolphin on her head, accompanied by a boy with blonde-brown hair. The sunset blushed with hues of bright red, pinks and oranges as it stretched out in front of both of them as they held hands. Iris realized that is what she wanted. What she had been needing the entire time. Iris just wanted to be herself with the person she loved. She felt envy for those two. Mathew noticed that Iris was staring at the two kids. "What weirdos." Mathew said plainly, clearly bored.

"So, that Sam guy seemed pretty attached...to uh-you. I mean, he barely knows you and he held onto you a little too much for my liking." Mathew said sternly.
"Yeah, so? What about you and that Abby girl?!" Iris screamed, "What are you trying to say?" Iris said more calmed than before, raising her eyebrows.

"What I'm saying is that, he barely knows you and then he decides to be all nice and hug you and shit! Don't you think that's a little creepy!"

"Again, what about you and Abby?" Iris demanded.

"We actually know each other so it's not creepy, and we're just friends!" Mathew said raising is voice. She got out of the car displeased,"Fine, whatever. You never told me what's going on between you and Abby." She shut the door behind her. Iris walked to her door upset, tired, and worst of all, disappointed with Mathew. That night she lay there in bed, unable to fall asleep. Iris thought about what Mathew had said. It is weird...what does he want to do? And why? She thought solemnly.
