A/N:
Hey my lovelies! Just a quick author's note to say that some of the things such as: places, brands, persons... in my story are imaginary. I just wanted you guys to know in order to avoid any misunderstanding or anything of the sort. That's it, you can get back to reading now. Enjoy! 😄
IMPORTANT A/N AT THE END.
⭕〰⭕〰⭕〰⭕〰⭕〰⭕〰⭕〰⭕As I set foot on Texan ground, mixed emotions washed over me. Houston, Texas, my hometown. Gosh, this place held so much memories of my life... It kind of felt good to be back home, although the only positive memories I made here were at school. I wonder what my childhood friends have turned out to be in life. I miss them a whole lot. I completely lost contact with them when I left Houston to pursue my dreams in California. Oh, well...
"Miss White, Miss-" I snapped out of an unrealized daze before Kent, one of my body guards, could say my name once again.
Now that I think of it I'm not sure if that's actually his name...
He chuckled lightly, indicating that we needed to start walking in order for me to reach the limo that was going to bring me to the Walsborough Stadium where the American Pride Show was being held.
Before I started walking I pulled a blue cap from my handbag and set it properly on my head to shield myself from the warm May sun, but mostly from the crazy paparazzi.
"Shit" I mumbled to myself as I felt droplet of sweat fall from my forehead and onto my nose. What was I thinking? I wore sweats on a hot day even though I checked the weather this morning! See, this is what Linda does to me...
As I walked I could feel my sweatshirt starting to stick onto my skin and I hated it. Ugh, I feel gross.
Once I was out of the airport, the lights of cameras and continuous questions forced me to put my head down and accelerate the steps I took towards the limousine.
"Chanel! Over here, how does it feel to be back home?"
"Why the sweats in this hot weather?!" As if that was supposed to make me feel better.
"Any special someone in your life?"
Were some of the questions I heard. When the crowd was out of view and I spotted the black vehicle and sighed feeling relieved. I got in fast and without hesitation.
"Why isn't the A/C on?" I asked smiling to myself as the driver turned it on and grumbled softly.

"Miss Chanel White, the one and only! What an honour to finally meet you, in person." The chubby man who was standing beside Linda wore a huge grin, which I could've sworn was going to tare his face apart at any instant, as he spoke wholeheartedly."Ha, great!" I let out the most sarcastic laugh.
"I assume that you are the producer, but please get straight to the point." I added in a serious tone.
