Today was a very exhausting day for me at the hotel, well everyday is pretty much tiering since I am a waiter, a janitor, a part time chef and a lifeguard at the busiest and most amazingly popular hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Rio Grande is an incredibly great place to work at, don't get me wrong; but it gets overwhelming at times.

Oof! I'm glad my day is over. I packed my bag in a hurry to reach home.
Oh shit. I have Esteban to pick up from school. How could I forget?! Esteban is my little brother. He calls me his "dad" though because that's the role I play in my family. At home it's just me, my mom, Esteban and my baby sister, Maria. My father died in a car accident about three years ago. Since then, it has been very hard for my family and I. It was never really easy for us but my dad's death affected us greatly and made our financial problems increase. That is why I have to work hard and provide for the only loved ones I have.

I rushed out of the staff locker room and headed towards the exit of the hotel. As I walked super fast, I felt someone's body against me but didn't pay it any mind until I heard a harsh, strong but feminine voice.

"Hey! Watch where you're going, you dumbass. You nearly made me fall over!!" A terribly gorgeous woman stood in front of me looking upset.

I completely ignored what she said and answered:

"Careful there angel face, you wouldn't want to hurt a perfect specimen like me, now, would you?" and walked away with a smirk.

I saw the glint of amusement in her eyes... Ain't that tough now, huh?

Typical.
