Hiiiyaa!! Okay, I know I say this in almost if not all my author's notes but... Sorry for not updating in so long! You have to cope with me though, please. I am not a busy college student or dealing with extreme life problems like most authors on Wattpad, but I am a very occupied person with school and other stuff... So please understand! And on my part I'll try to update faster. 😇😘❤

Chanel's POV

"Okay. Thank you" I said to the lady at the reception, after she gave me a receipt for my entry at the Rio Grande Hotel.

I then proceeded to find myself a cab to go to the hotel. Hours, yes literally hours later a decent taxi came my way. What? Yes I said decent, I wasn't gonna go into any of the cheap rusty cars that I saw...

"Good afternoon Miss" the taxi driver greeted me as I got my self comfortable is the hard car seat. I didn't reply and simply rolled my eyes waiting for him to start the journey towards the hotel.

He didn't drive off until I shouted for him to. It was as if he expected me to answer him. Pshh... He surely thought wrong.

While we were driving, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful Brazil was. It was so different from the US.  The nature, the people, the buildings, everything was good looking here. The houses were my favourite part. They were colourful cabins perched in the hills and on the road side.
It reminded me of pictures seen in documentaries or images in my high school world history books.

Who would've thought that I, Chanel White would've ended up here... Just to think I was, well I still am, an absolute musical sensation. What was I doing? I don't know. All I know is that I needed a serious get away from all the shit going on back home. All I wish is that everything goes well here.

"We're here, madam" the driver's voice distracted me from my inner thoughts. I hopped out of the disgraceful vehicle, and waited for him to do the same in order to take out my luggage. When he finally did, we got to the entrance of the prestigious hotel and I paid him as the three porters collected my stuff on the baggage cart and waited until I checked in.

"Good afternoon, Welcome to the Rio Grande, how may I assist you today?" A quite young looking Brazilian girl smiled a bit too broadly.

Isn't it obvious that I want a room to stay I wanted to say but retained myself from saying it.

"Hi, good afternoon, I've got a reservation from the airport. It was for the private suite upstairs, in the name of Chanel White." I spoke surprised she didn't seem to know me.
