I Swear I'll Never Let You Go

~Chapter 5~

I opened my eyes and pulled away. Brad simply looked at me and smiled, and without saying a word, he took my hand and we left.

"Where are we going?" I said as he started suddenly speeding up as we got out of the shopping centre, we hadn't even done any shopping yet!

"You'll see" he smirked with a wide grin creeping on his face. What even is this boy on??

We carried on walking for about half an hour, where were we? I'd never seen this part of the town before. But I didn't really mind, I was with Brad. And then it hit me.

I just kissed Brad.

Brad just kissed me.

OH MY GOD.

I suddenly had the most massive smile you could've ever seen. From one end of my jaw to the other. I squeezed his hand and hugged him tight. I love him. He kissed my forehead and rubbed the top of my head gently.

Finally we came across a cute little duck pond, completely secluded under a big willow tree. "We're here" Brad smiled.

We sat down at the willow tree and looked over the pond, "it's beautiful" I said, completely starstruck.

From behind the willow tree Brad pulled out a picnic basket, inside was some bread to feed the ducks and Brad's mum's homemade jam tarts, delicious.

"Did you plan all this for me?" I looked at him in awe.

"Only for the best" he said while winking at me. I leaned on his shoulder while we both munched on the jam tarts.

"Do you want to feed the ducks?" Brad said while opening the pack of bread, looking like a hyper two year old.

"I thought you'd never ask" I said with another big smile. I always loved feeding ducks ever since I was little. We each had 4 pieces each, Brad wanted to be in charge of the bread. Eventually there was only one piece left, but two of us. He looked up at me and bit his lip.

"We'll just spilt it" I said patting his shoulder and reassuring him.

"Okay!!!" He said, smiling again.

I wanted to get a bit closer so I could feed the baby ducks trying to swim to reach us. They were so cute. What I didn't realise is that the part that I was standing on was muddy and slippery.

"Be careful Alesha!" Brad said worryingly.

"Don't worry I'm fine, I'm coming now" I said turning around. Suddenly I felt myself losing my balance.

"ALESHA!!" I heard Brad scream.
