Tigress woke up to the sound of walls crumbling around her. She coughed and tried to stand up, but a heavy piece of cement rested on top of her. The tigress turned and tried to push it, but it barely budged. She grunted in anger and tried to roll out of it, but it just caused her to get more stuck.

All of a sudden, the heavy weight was lifted off her and she rapidly stood up. She brushed her pants and looked up, and stared at two golden eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Tigress scowled, but didn't try to fight. She was too weak.

"That's not a polite way to greet someone who saved your life. Or is it?" Tai Lung folded his arms and laughed.

"You didn't save my life, I could've managed by myself."

"Oh really? Then I'll suppose I'll leave you here now.."

As he started to walk away, Tigress angrily stepped towards the other direction, but then winced and fell down. She seemed to have twisted her ankle, and moving made the pain worse. She turned her head towards the pacing leopard but refused to call for help. Instead, she looked for anyone else nearby. It seemed that everyone had evacuated or had been captured by the attackers. She accidentally stomped with her foot furiously and yowled in pain.

Tai Lung slowly turned around and sauntered back, grinning. He supported Tigress up but she resisted and slapped his hand away. He arched his eyebrow in surprise, and opened his mouth, but then closed it as a shimmer of gold hit is eye.

The Dragon Scroll.

He dived in to get it, his hands ready to grasp it and learn all the secrets to becoming the almighty Dragon Warrior, when a quick flash of orange and black appeared and the scroll was gone.

"What?" He looked around then stared at Tigress. "Give me that!"

"Ha! You expect me, to just hand it over, is that right?" She retorted, a look of entertainment came on her face as the snow leopard looked at her in despair.

For a moment, they were both silent. Tai Lung stared at the scroll, and bunched up his muscles ready to pounce on it, but by then Tigress already opened it up and read it. Tai Lung clenched his fists and growled as her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

Then she threw the scroll onto the ground.

She furrowed her eyebrows and muttered under her breath, "Oogway was wrong." She then plopped herself onto the floor and buried her face on her lap.

Tai Lung slowly picked up the scroll and unrolled the Dragon Scroll. To his astonishment, nothing was written on it, except a reflective golden paper showing his face.

He was quite disappointed, but didn't show it. The leopard looked at Tigress and kneeled down beside her.

"Is Kitty feeling depressed?" He got his face covered just in case she attempted to strike a punch, but nothing came.

After a long period of silence, she murmured, "Everything I trained for... It was a lie." Her eyes teared up and refused to stare at Tai Lung.

"Everything here is a lie, Tigress. The Jade Palace, Master Shifu, everything!" His voice grew more intense as he continued to say, "They're using you Tigress, haven't you already seen that? Why have you been so blind?"

"I HAVE SEEN THAT." The cat violently whipped her head around to stare at him. "I've seen it for years, now." Her voice grew quieter. "I knew Master Shifu never liked me, he... he..." She took a breath of air,

"He always liked you better."

Those words cleared Tai Lung's mind and he was speechless. She was talking about their childhood, when Master Shifu loved him as a son while Tigress was just someone who always needed to improve. He shook his head and replied,

"No. He betrayed me and lied to me. You and I are on the same level." He quickly changed the subject.

"That's why I ask you to take revenge with me. We can pulverize them, make them pay back to us. How about it?"

At first, Tigress seemed to look at Tai Lung as if he was joking. But then she realized he was being honest. She took it into consideration for a few minutes, and then replied,

"Alright. I accept."

"Have we arrived?"

It's been several hours since they departed from the Jade Palace-or what was left of it. They have been hiking up several hills steep enough for even Master Tigress to get tired of, especially with the twisted ankle which was feeling a little better, but was still painful. She was about to pass out, when she saw the Melanite Palace.

It left her breathless, the polished black walls shining in the midst of the brown path. It was quite stunning, and was very impressive. It was built just like the Jade Palace, only slightly bigger and seemed to be more..... Powerful.

"Isn't it quite the beauty?" Tai Lung noticed her amazement. He smirked and led her inside.

Too bad Tigress didn't see what was coming for her.

HEY GUYS! Sorry this one was pretty short. I dealed with a lot of stuff today. *SHORT STORY, PLEASE SKIP THE ITALICIZED BOLDED WORDS :D* So I had a pet dwarf hamster named Leia, (You know, from Starwars) but she ran away 2 days ago and we set up a trap to capture her. It was basically a tiny empty plastic garbage can and we set a huge ladder for her to climb up and there was food in it so she could sniff the food and fall it the trap >:) Lol, but she DIDN'T GO IN... Because she is very nervous and jumpy type of hamster. Then we saw her in a corner yesterday and caught her in this box and put her in the cage. But poor Leia was shaking, she wouldn't move and eat food. She drank some water, but it was too late.... She died today :(

About 2 hours after she died, we went to the pet store and then bought the exact same type of hamster and named her Leia again, because in honor of old Leia. So there you have it... A sad and happy day. 2 in 1.

ALSO! I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!! About the story, do you think..... Like... they should do romantic stuff like kiss? Or no? Tell me in the comments please!! I need your opinion!!!!

Thanks for reading everyone :D Have a great day/night!
