**RING RING**

"Class dismissed"

Finally it's over. My first Math lesson, and it felt like I died already. Octavia drags me out of the classroom and into the Cafeteria for lunch where roaring students are piling in.
Already I can see the food chain forming. Jocks, Cheerleaders, Sluts and all the rest sit down in the middle and the rest spiral out.

Jocks & Sluts - Humorous Trouble-Makers - Gossip Girls - Gross Hippies & Geeks/Nerds etc.

At my old school I was obviously at the bottom of that unwinding spiral. I liked it there, I guess.
Octavia continues to drag me, and surprisingly she takes me to the Humorous Trouble-Makers.

"Everyone, this is Mia! She is new, so shut up and like her. Oh, and no newbie pranks!"

I turn to everyone awkwardly and wave my hand. Unpredictably, they're all boys.

"NO WAY!" One of the boys suddenly yell. "She's the one that roasted you in Chemistry first period!" He says, pointing to Adam. I chuckle a little as I see Adam's face turn red of embarrassment as he shoves his face with food.

"Mia, this is as you already know; Adam, Dylan and Jackson" She introduces me.

All the boys give me a charming smile as I sit down next to Adam and Octavia beside me. As I look in front of me, I see Jackson and Dylan engaging in conversation. Their adorable deep dimples rest in their charming smile as I begin to stare at their handsome laughing fit. I suddenly realise I am staring so I quickly turn to look at Octavia before I am caught.

"So you sit here everyday?" I ask Octavia.

"Yep. This is our spot" She replies confidently. "We've always sat here, nowhere else"

As me and Octavia continue to eat and small talk , Dylan suddenly speaks up to all of us.

"How about a nice game of Truth or Dare?" He asks evilly.

"Yes! Yes!" Everyone shouts, except me.

"Mia, you in?" Dylan asks devilishly.

"No thanks" I reply simply, and go back to eating my food. I realise that there is a lot of silence so I look up, halfway through chewing. Everyone is staring at me flabbergasted of my choice, except Jackson. He is just watching me like everyone else, but he isn't just watching me. He is studying me deeply.

"What do you mean, 'No thanks'?!"

"I mean, no thanks. I don't want to play. Mostly because I have only played it once, and it didn't really turn out very well.

"Mia, you are so playing" Octavia shoving me playfully.

I roll my eyes and continue with my food as the first few questions are asked.

"I'm asking first!" Dylan yells. "Okay... Octavia. Truth or Dare?"

"Dare"

Oh no. Why do people like dare so much? It always ends up badly, either injury wise or your dignity is crushed to smithereens. Truth isn't so good itself either. It is a part of the rules where you must speak the full truth of the question asked, and that never ends well either.

"I dare you to waltz right up to Kyle Reagan, and sit on his lap and flirt with him"

Everyone collapses into silence as we watch her walk right up to the middle of the cafeteria; the center of the spiral; the top of the food chain and sit down on 'Kyle Reagan's' lap.

"Who's Kyle Reagan?" I whisper to Adam who is silently dying of laughter. As he catches his breathe, he answers.

"Kyle Reagan is the Captain of the Football Team. A jock. He gets all the girls. Sleeps with them, then throws them away" He explains.
