Chapter 1 ~ Tickets?

On a rainy day in Ireland, Lainey and Maddie were recording a video to post to their channel, PhoenixGaming.

"Hey guys! Welcome back to the flames of hell!" Lainey yelled to the camera.
"Today we are playing One Night at Flumpty's 2." Maddie smiled to the camera.

After many deaths, and many scares, they beat the game. After finishing recording Maddie knew she had to edit and upload, so she got started on that. Lainey brought Maddie pizza.

"I'm going out." Lainey said throwing the pizza at Maddie.
"Out where?" Maddie asked grabbing the pizza out of her hair.
"Just out." Lainey smiled.

Lainey left the apartment and went to meet up with Sean or Jack, also known as Jacksepticeye. Maddie finished editing and went on Skype to talk to Mark, aka Markiplier.

"Hello?" Mark answered the Skype.
"Hey Mark." Maddie looked at him.
"Maddie, why is there pizza in your hair?" Mark quizzed her.
"Lainey threw it on me and left." She answered.
"To go where?" Mark gave a puzzled look.
"Drinking probably." Maddie pulled cheese from her hair.
"Maddie you're supposed to be watching over her. She 19!" Mark partly yelled.
"Yeah yeah yeah. I know, I was just gonna finished editing and upload." Maddie looked at the time. "I'm gonna go, bye Mark."
"Bye Maddie." Mark waved bye and Maddie hung up.

Lainey was at the bar with Jack, drinking like no big deal. At on point she started what I'm not sure you can call dancing, on the bar. Jack pulled her down. Both of them drunk, Lainey started texting Mark. Around 6:00am Maddie showed up to bring Lainey home.

"Lainey its time to go home." Maddie said pulling her drunk friend off the ground.
"But shots Maddie, shots." Lainey slurred.

Maddie noticed Jack over in the corner. Maddie grabbed Lainey and put her in the car, only to go back into the bar and grab Jack too. Maddie drove Jack home and then went home with Lainey. Maddie put Lainey to bed and went to the recording room to check her Skpye. After checking Skpye Maddie went to the living room and watched some tv. Lainey woke up later was a massive hangover. She ran to the bathroom and threw up a few times.

"Lainey, you okay?" Maddie got up from the couch and walked to the bathroom.
"Don't speaks so loud." Lainey looked at Maddie. "Advil?"
"It's in the cabinet." Maddie laughed and walked away. "You know if Jack's awake?"
"Ugh no, why did you have to yell?!" Lainey said grabbing the Advil.

Maddie went to the recording room to grab her phone. When Maddie grabbed her phone she noticed a missed Skype call from Mark. Maddie sat down and called Mark back, knowing Jack is probably asleep.

"Hello?" Mark answered the call.
"Hey Mark, saw you called sorry I didn't answer." Maddie replied.
"No you're good, but are you going to Pax?" Mark questioned.
"Maybe, I don't know, why?" Maddie looked at Mark.
"Well I got some weird texts from Lainey, saying that you were going. Apparently you bought tickets and everything." Mark looked at Maddie.
"Hmm... I mean she can't actually buy tickets I control her credit card." Maddie replied. "Maybe Jack bought them. Wait when is Pax?"
"It's Thursday and in LA." Mark answered.
"What?! Oh god, okay I'm gonna go call Jack. Talk later." Maddie said hanging up.

Maddie unlocked her phone and started to call Jack, he didn't answer right away which was no surprise. So Maddie called again.

"Hello?" Jack answered his phone.
"Sean, did you bought Pax tickets last night?" Maddie asked using his real name to show it was serious.
"No. Why?" Jack was half asleep.
"Because apparently we are heading to Pax on Thursday." Maddie walked out of the recording room.
"What?" Jack obviously still a bit drunk.
"Yep, so pack, I'm buying plane tickets and picking you up." Maddie said hanging up.

Maddie walked to the kitchen to find Lainey at the table with a coffee. Lainey looked at Maddie.

"What?" Lainey asked.
"Apparently we're going to Pax, so go pack." Maddie looked at her phone to buy plane tickets.

Lainey went to her room and packed, Maddie did the same. The flight was at 8pm. Maddie and Lainey went to throw their stuff in the trunk, Maddie drove to pick up Jack. When they got to the airport it was 6:30pm, they had time to waste. Jack and Lainey spelt because they still had part of hangover. Maddie watched Netflix. At 7:45pm the plane was boarding. Maddie woke Lainey and Jack up and they boarded. The plane landed when they got to LA. Lainey, Jack, and Maddie grabbed their stuff, got a car and headed to Mark's because that's where Jack was staying. After dropping off Jack, Maddie and Lainey went to their hotel. They slept till morning they had one free day till Pax and they spent it at the hotel, relaxing. Around 5:30 Mark call Lainey.

"Hello?" Lainey answered her phone.
"Hey Lainey, you and Maddie wanna meet up for Sushi in an hour?" Mark asked.
"Sure, text Maddie the address and we'll meet you there." Lainey said.
"Can't I just text you?" Mark quizzed over the phone.
"No, phones basically dead." Lainey answered.
"Got okay see you in an hour." Mark said happily hanging up.

Lainey went to plug her phone in and tell Maddie that they were gonna meet up with the boy for Sushi in an hour.

"Wanna drop by Matt and Steph's for a bit?" Maddie asked.
"Sure." Lainey said putting shoes on.

Maddie drove her and Lainey to Matt and Steph's apartment, Lainey knocked on the door and Steph answered. They were in the middle of a live stream but let us join them, they were playing One Night at Flumpty's 2. They helped them play, we still all got scared. The stream ended and Lainey and Maddie left. Maddie puled her phone out to find 20 missed calls from Jack and Mark, along with 40 texts from them. They had missed dinner with them. Maddie called Jack back.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPEN TO YOU? ARE YOU OKAY? ME AND MARK HAVE BEEN WORRIED FOR YOU FOR AN HOUR!" Jack screamed through the phone.
"Yes Jack, we're fine. Sorry for not answering, I had my phone on mute." Maddie answered him.
"Why was your phone on mute?" Jack question.
"We went to Matt and Steph's they were streaming and we joined them, so I put my phone on mute, I totally forgot Mark was gonna text me." I told Jack.
"Jesus, you almost gave us a heart attack. Mark was about to call the cops." Jack answered.
"We're sorry." Maddie told him.
"Yeah okay, see you at Pax tomorrow." Jack said hanging up.
