Third pov
Lainey walked over to Maddie's car, opened the passenger door and got it. Maddie looked over at Lainey, tears staining her face.
"Maddie.....I-I'm sorry. I needed to get away, after what Mark did...I just couldn't I'm sorry." Lainey looked at her crying sister.
"Lainey I understand you had to leave, but just leaving and not calling or texting to let us know you're alive and okay, well that was a dick move....everyone back home is worried sick over you. For fuck sakes James actually had a breakdown over losing you!" Maddie wiped some tears.
"He did?" Lainey leaned back in her seat.
"Yes, we all did!"
"I'm sorry I didn't know..."
"Course you didn't. Look you obviously want to just live your life away from us, so go ahead and do so. Just call to let us know you're alive." Maddie wiped her tears.
"No Maddie, I don't....I just....i don't know." Lainey looks out the front window.
