Chapter 24 ~ Thinking About Leaving

Mark's pov

I stood at the door, after hearing where Lainey went all I wanted to do was hug her and never let go. God I was so stupid for leaving her. I'm a jerk she doesn't deserve. There's no way I can make it up to her.

"Lainey?" I spoke softly through the door. "I'm sorry-"

I was cut off by a knock at the door. I walk over and answered it.

"Maddie?" I questioned.

"Lainey called me. Where is she?" She asked.

"Bathroom." I let Maddie in.

She walks to the bathroom and knocks on the door.

"Lainey, it's Maddie." She said.

Lainey came out of the bathroom eyes all red and puffy, she even had a runny nose. Maddie and Lainey walked to the front door. Maddie said she'd call later, after they left I sat on the couch, scolding myself even more.

Lainey's Pov

We got back to Maddie's and Jack's, I sat on the couch while Maddie and Jack talked. Looking over at them I realized how much I missed the green haired boy that my sister feel in love with and my sister the one who never gave up on me. Maddie walked over and sat down next to me.

"You can stay here as long as you need too, okay?" Maddie looked me in the eyes.

"Thank you." I smiled slightly.

I have been living with Maddie and Jack for a while now but I think I want to go back to Ireland. I've been thinking about this for a while now. I think I'm ready to go back, there's not a whole lot here for me, no Mark, no home, no nothing. I walked over to Maddie.

"Maddie?" I stood in front her.

"Yeah?" She looked up at me.

"I think I want to move back to Ireland." I looked at her.

"What.....?" She started blankly at me.
