Chapter 5~ Mark and Jack

Jack's pov (Didn't see that coming did ya?)

After Skyping with Maddie I knew I should call Mark up.

"Hey Jack!" Mark answered the call.
"Hey Mark, are you ready to come to Ireland?" I asked.
"Yeah, you think Lainey's gonna ignore me?" Mark asked.
"No, Lainey should be over it." I said softy.
"Anyways ready for Maddie's birthday? It's coming up right?" Mark questioned.
"Yeah, it's the day you get here actually." I answered.
"Oh okay, well I should sleep got the plane ride tomorrow." Mark hung up.

After Mark hung up I went to my kitchen to eat, then checked on Maddie's present. I went to record after because it was only 6:00am and Mark was to be here around 10:00pm.

Mark's pov

After my Skype call with Jack, I packed my suitcase so I was ready for Ireland. I card the card for Maddie and put in the my suitcase. Checking the time I realized I sleep. I woke up at 2:15am and drove to the airport. After getting on my plane I sat back and relaxed for the ride. When I got to Ireland I grabbed my suitcase and looked for Jack.

"Mark!" I heard his Irish voice cut through the crowds.
"Jack!" I yelled back walking towards him.
"Hey man how ya been?" Jack smiled excitedly. "Here let me take your suitcase."
"Good, and I got it." I followed Jack to the car throwing my suitcase in the back.
"Okay the girls don't know your here, and tomorrow when we meet up with them." Jack told me.
"Got it." I smiled.

Jack drove the car to his house and took my suitcase to the guest room. I've only been to Ireland one other time, so Jack showed me where everything was again, he also showed me the present he got for Maddie, and damn it was good. He said goodnight and slept. I did the same.

Jack's pov

Mark was finally here, which means all the adventures. Maddie's present was on my bed that night. The next morning I woke up and made breakfast for Mark. Mark woke up as I finished making the food. We ate then got ready to see the girls. We were meeting in the park at 11:00am and it was 9:30am. Mark and I both got dressed and headed out at 10:30 seeing as it would take roughly half an hour to get there. We beat Maddie and Lainey there. Around 11:05 Lainey texted me they were running late and we're now on their way. I looked over at Mark who was fiddling with his fingers.

"Mark you okay?" I asked him.
"Yeah, just nervous. Lainey's been giving me the silent treatment." Mark looked at me.
"I'm sure you'll be fine." I tried reassuring him.

A few minutes later I saw both Maddie and Lainey. I had hid Maddie's present already. Maddie ran towards us squealing when she was Mark.

"Mark! Oh my god you're here!" She screamed happily.
"Hey Maddie!" Mark pulled her into a hug.
"It's so good to see you." Maddie smiled. "Jack."
"Maddie." I smiled at her. "Happy birthday."
"Yeah Happy birthday." Mark said.
"Thanks." Maddie smiled.

Lainey came over and saw Mark. She froze in her place. Maddie ran over to her talking to her and getting her to come over.

"Hey Lainey." I smiled.
"Hey Jack." She replied.
"Lainey." Mark said looking at her.
"We're gonna let you too talk. I wanna show Maddie her present." I said pulling Maddie away.
"What'd you get me?" Maddie asked.
"I'm not telling now close your eyes." I laughed.
"But Jack." She whined like a little kid.
"Close them." I smiled.
"Fine." She closed her eyes.

I grabbed Maddie's present and told her to open her eyes.

"Jack!" She screamed.
"Happy birthday." I smiled.
"Oh my god I can't believe you got me a dog!" Maddie walked over and hugged it.
"What will you name it?" I asked her.
"Spots because he's got spots." Maddie laughed.
"Good name." I pet Spots.

Lainey and Mark finally walked over. Lainey freaked out over the dog. After a while at the park we got supplies for Spots then dropped him off at Maddie's before dinner. At dinner Maddie had asked if Lainey and Mark we good.

"So are you guys done not talking to each other?" Maddie asked.
"Yeah, actually we got some news to tell you." Lainey said looking at Mark.

AN~ AHHH what's the news?!!! Guess you guys gotta wait and find out. Sorry it's so short but like I said that's how the next few will be but, hopefully Chapter 7 is the last short one. Hope your enjoying the story bye!
