A/N
This is so, so late, and I'm really sorry. It's late for a stupid reason, too.

Know why?

I rarely ever go shopping, so I had no idea how to write this.

Stupid, I know! And again, I'm really sorry. But the chapter is also kind of short, being 5.3k

Tidbits to know for this chapter:

"Irasshaimase" means "welcome"

Yes, nii-san means brother, and Karamatsu calls them his burazas, but they still aren't a family. They're just such best friends that they consider each other siblings.

The costume bags are opaque, so the costumes inside are hidden completely.

In case you missed the memo, language is being used harshly. You should already know this from the previous chapters though..

Anyways, here you go.

Enjoy

Choromatsu's Perspective

Beep Beep Beep. Beep Beep Beep. Beep Be- Click.

I lazily smacked my alarm and cursed under my breath to have woken up. Groaning as I stretched, I swung my legs to my left, only to smack into the wall and yelp in pain. My bed was against the wall with a window, in a corner. At least I didn't smash the window or anything..

Sighing, I slipped out of bed on the right side (literally lol) and got dressed. Next, I went about my morning routine; making my bed, brushing my teeth and hair, marking yesterday off of the calendar, and such. Glancing at the clock, I decide that now would be a normal time to leave, and grab my phone.

We're usually expected to arrive at the host's house somewhere between 10:15 and 10:45. This way, no matter who's house it is, there's a 30 minute timeframe for everyone to arrive within before we do anything as a group. Which, honestly, is usually just us sitting around in a living room or bedroom, doing our own thing. We just do the same thing we would've done if we were at home, only with each other's company. But we make the most of it and enjoy it nonetheless.

Regardless of that, rather, regarding what I said about the 30 minute timeframe, I prefer to arrive early, and there has only been one occasion in which I wasn't the first guest to show their face. But that's another topic. I take notice of my calves' beginning to become a bit sore from the uphill trek.

That's odd, I walk uphill every day. Wait a minute, I'm not walking, I'm pacing, borderline running.

It's only 9:57, and I'm already halfway there. Sheesh, I couldn't have walked that fast, could I have..?

I slow my pace down drastically; from brisk speed walking to slower, smaller steps. I tried to busy myself by taking in the scenery around me, to no avail. After all, I've seen the same of everything for the past 20-something years.

The same houses, the same cars in their usual parking arrangements, the traffic signs, the railings, the typical morning dew on the grass. Hell, I had even noticed a few marks in the cement.

Sighing in frustration, I check my surroundings. Maybe one of them was also on their way? Especially considering their odd arrival times yesterday.. I stop in my tracks, pausing in thought.

It wouldn't have gotten to me this much if it were only Jyushi, as he's been late a few times prior, but..

The fact that Osomatsu and Ichimatsu may as well have swapped arrival times, and without explanation, is what bothered me. When Ichimatsu opened the door for me yesterday, I was dumbfounded.
