Jail For You: I'll Tell You

Joshua's POV:

Colleen is always weird with me now. Ever since that night where so completely broke down things just haven't been the same.

Of course I feel bad for her and of course I still love her, it's just that she is different now, she doesn't act the same.

She hides things from me when I have always been so open with her. Its very aggravated.

I miss the old Colleen but now she is different. We barely even speak now.  We don't touch, we barley even interact.

It makes me so sad but if she isn't going to be open with me then there isn't any point of trying anymore.

I put Noah to bed. It's 8:30 and Colleen isn't home, but she said she would be home late.

It's 8:45 and Colleen walks into the door. She looks at me and gives me a half smile.

"Want dinner?" I asked.

"I got take out." She said quietly.

She went upstairs as I sat downstairs and got upset. I love her so much and I hate being like this with her.

I walk upstairs as Colleen is on her laptop, what's new to be honest. She sees me and closes it a bit.

I'm so frustrated I just want to scream but I keep my cool.

"I'm going to go pee." She said getting up.

I watched her go into the bathroom as I ran to the bed where her laptop was. I know this was wrong of me but I'm getting to the bottom of this.

I open her laptop and I'm already lost. All her tabs are closed out and I don't know what to click on. I go to safari and see YouTube, Twitter, Email, and some work scripts.

"Joshua what are you doing?" I hear Colleen ask as she looks at me disappointed.

"Trying to figure out why the hell you are always on your laptop and ignoring me!" I said standing up angry.

"Well it's a huge invasion of privacy by going on my laptop and snooping." She said, almost like she was hurt.

"Oh my gosh that's your excuse now? Invasion of privacy? What do you have to hide, I'm your husband!" I said angrily, as I was broken in the inside.

The person I love the most is hiding so many things from, I thought she told me everything.

Another part of me was still raging. She is lying to me and keeping things from me.

"Joshua it's not an excuse-" "Save it." I said annoyed. I grabbed a blanket and pillow as she looked at me.

"Where are you going?" She asked, her voice shaking.

"Downstairs I guess. I'm not going to sleep with you if I'm being lied to. I've stuck with you long enough Colleen and all you have done is kept more secrets." I said.

"Joshua please don't leave, I'm scared." She said getting tears in her eyes.

"Of what!?" I asked mad.

"I can't say." She said so quiet that I could barley even hear her.

I went and grabbed her laptop out of her hands as tears started flowing out of her eyes.

"Joshua stop!" She said crying.

"If you can't say then I'll just look, it will make things easier." I said turning around. I heard her running and I looked up and she was in front of me.

"Fine I'll tell you." She said sobbing uncontrollably. She looked at me in the eyes as she sobbed, "I have some explaining to do..."
