24 years earlier

It was hot...hotter than usual, and because of this people were passing out. Tatooine was basically just a big hunk of sand and where there was sand, it meant it got everywhere. So on top of the hot sun peering on you melting your face, you had sand in very uncomfortable places.

It was the middle of the day and at this moment five to ten people were transporting water to a camp. Each person had a bucket of water or a thing of crops with them. Some were adults and some were children, with the youngest being a force wielding seven year old girl.

She was stronger than most children and was very quiet, being careful not to converse with others as they carried the supplies safely back to camp.

After an hour or so of trekking, they finally made it back to the camp they were living at. But this wasn't an ordinary camp, it was a slave camp.

Run by the Tusken Raiders or what the young girl and many others called them, the sand people.

Ruthless creatures who didn't feel like doing the work themselves. Tuskens had a bad rep, and on the planet of Tatooine being captured by them was horrible luck.

Why couldn't the slaves just run off on supply runs and escape this nightmare?

Because Tusken were everywhere, always looking for strays who tried to leave, waiting for a valid reason to strike at their captives. Even the women and children of the Tusken's camp, were ruthless to the slaves.

All of these captives once had warm places to call homes surrounded by family and friends, but their fates were different in the end.

Amara was her name. The sever year old force wielder with the potential to save everyone, yet didn't even realize the true power she had.

Stolen by Tuskens a few years back after her brother was taken away by Jedi. She thought about it everyday and every night.

What a foolish mistake she made. Just by venturing out a little too far at night resulted in her life changing for the worst.

She had heard stories of the sand people at night taking people but she didn't think it would happen to her, not with her brother always protecting her, but once he left, it's as if she had become vulnerable.

To the other slaves of the village, she was one of the hardest workers they had seen.

Tuskens and Slaves could always point her out by looking for her small and thin frame. She was always covered in dirt wether it was on her clothes or just her skin. She didn't like to look anyone in the eyes often, afraid of what they would do. But for those that had seen her, like those that lived in the hut with her, they thought she was absolutely gorgeous.

After making it back to the village, the young girl dropped her share of the loads from the crops and water down, then proceeded to walk to her tiny hut in the back of the village, being escorted of course.

When she arrived in her small hut she looked around to see familiar faces staring at her, people she had lived with since she arrived her. Other children were huddled together eating bread, while the adults gathered clothes to go wash, only after asking. One being stood out above the others though. An elderly woman named Nina. This woman was in a way, Amara's caretaker.
